Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

The GT bridal suite is soooooo much nicer than the one they showed me I'd be in - for the WGP - I am soooo jealous! A fireplace IN THE BRIDAL SUITE? Amazing. The WGP one is really small compared to that one.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

we were hardly in our bridal suite..
the longest was maybe 10 min..
and you dont want to be up there at all when your reception is going on! i had to enjoy every min of our wedding!

just a little tip!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

that is true.. the experiences I have had is that the only time you use your bridal suite is to drop off your stuff like bags of slippers or something and to regroup right before announcements.. and to use the ladies room.. since these gowns make it HARD to use a small stall

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Hey ladies,

Does anyone know if the fox hollow would let my florist put their own flowers on the cake instead of me paying them $100 to do it? I do not know if a florist would charge more or less than that, but I think my florist (whoever it winds up being haha) would do a better job - better colors, more like my bouquet etc - and I just wanted to see if anyone asked that question.

TIA!

Does anyone know??

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Another question: does anyone know if the fox hollow will play music for you as you walk down the aisle? I have my band's keyboardist right now, but every once in a while I think it would be very nice to walk down to a song with lyrics. (The keyboardist would be solo, and he doesn't sing, so it would be instrumental. We could add a singer for $200 ... )

Does anyone know if they will press play and stop for me? I would need them to play one song as I walk down, and then one as we walk down at the end - and I guess play some sort of instrumental music as people are arriving. And, can they do this if the ceremony is outdoors?

they said they can play the music for you... but honestly, i wouldnt trust fox hollow to be in charge of that.. its the most important part of your wedding!! they use cd's.. they are not dj's , so you would have to pray that they played the right song, and so on.. i would be sooo upset if that was messed up. .. so i had our dj do our ceremony as well..

if you can find someone to do it.. i would recomend it!!

just some advice for you!!

I have thought about that. So far this is the ONE thing I feel a DOC would be good for!!! I wouldn't want any of my guests to be in charge of music, and I am not going to hire a DOC just to handle music for a 1/2 hour. So, maybe I will stick with the keyboardist.

yea i hear you about a DOC.. that would be the only reason why i would have gotten one also.. but its great that we had the dj do our ceremony.

i think the keyboardist will be great!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

yeah, i just asked him if he knew 'at last' - it's like my favorite song ever and we really can't have it played at the reception because we only have a male singer. I hope my keyboardist knows it!!!!

If not, I'll be your DOC and push play and stop as many times as you like!
