how many people did you invite in total? And remember to count your FH's side too.
As the responses came in, i kept saying, ohmagosh, so many people are saying no. But when we totaled it all up....both our sides....we're well above our minimum.
yeahhh...our rsvp date is april 30th, so i figured we would just wait to see..i have a feeling we will reach just about 200, maybe a lil less. My parents will be calling ppl this week to find out, so lets see what happens :)

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
it was on channel 11 news, the segment called help me howard. there were a ex-bride and the ex-brides mother trying to get their wedding cancelled. the ex bride and the mother of the other ex-bride wanted their 7000 dollars back because they allegedly did not sign a contract with villa barrone. the both parties cancelled their weddings. Vill barone had them allegeldy sign sometype of statement not sure what it was.So they had help me howard helped them, so they went to the villa and the owners acted rude. i wish they had it posted on their site . It usually up after they air it,.

AR31....I'm soo glad you love your outfit now!! =)I got the call....my dress is in....my blouse is done being made. We're having furniture delivered to the apt next week. Ohmagosh, I can't believe there's only 24 days left!!
I started doing table seatings, wow, it's such a daunting task!
And, FYI.....if you girls are still looking for shoes.....try Zappos.com. I couldn't find any shoes that I liked around the mall or at DSW...so on Monday night, I ordered a bunch from Zappos.com and when I got home from work yesterday, they were already delivered to my house! + they don't have a shipping charge OR a return shipping fee....and you can return it within 365 days.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
yeah thats exactly what im doing.. im not bothering with seat placements, it would make it too crazy! plus i dont know every single persons name coming in with Baraat, which is why I am having like 4 tables with 'Reserved for Groom's Family' and then tables for my family as well. The rest I will have table placecards and group people to tables.what do you think??
also, im getting my cake from the RH . i looked through their book and they actually had something i liked, and its like half the price! it will only be like $250 for a 4 tier cake! the bakery quoted me around $400 with $50 delivery charge.
