Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

another question... We are probably going to add the seafood boat to the cocktail hour. Now that is additional cost per head. So, my question is does that completly raise my tax and gratuity up too?

I know the way i wrote it is hard to understand. I am just thinking that will increase our cost significantly even if my FFIL pays for the boat cost per head.

Yes, it will raise tax and gratuity b/c the per person addition for the seafood boat is added to the base, and then tax and gratuity is added.

ie: BEFORE seafood
$10 per person
tax $1
grat $2
total: $13

AFTER seafood
$10 per person
$3 seafood boat per person
tax $2
grat $3
total: $18

I thought the seafood boat was additional 15 or 20 a person?

oh wait is the 3 just the tax on it?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I got the seafood boat for $10.00 extra
per person but I know the fox hollow charges at least $15.00 per person....we Got a deal because we added a few things so they took $5.00 off the boat for us.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

FH really wants it but i have tried to explain that he won't reap (sp) the benefits of it. I just don't want to pay a lot more pp at the end of the day. Do you know what i mean? I am not trying to sound snotty about it.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

For anyone that was in or going to be in the Winter Garden Room and getting chair covers, are the chairs (wrought-iron) the same size as banquet round backs?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I have a question after reading some of the other posts on this website....Did anyone get a food tasting? or were you even offered a food tasting? It wasn't even something I thought of at the time because so many people told me the food was great. Should I ask for one? Also, are most of you getting the 1/3 off price for feeding vendors? I am sure that is something we all get but they make it seem like they are throwing that in, hehe. And is that for ALL vendors or just house vendors?

Also, any good recommendations for a photographer? I have heard good things about Duet and I went for an appointment and liked them but I wanted to look a little more too.

I didn't even ask about chair covers. I guess you have to ask for them in the Briar Fox room too. Is anyone getting them and how much are they?

They do not have food tastings, but will welcome you to the restaruant to try the food. Call your banquet manager and ask for the details.

As far as feeding vendors, I got vendors at 1/2 the price. Any vendor - not necessarily their house vendors eat at 50%
