I feel like everytime I call Fox Hollow and that lady answers the phone she has an attitude problem!! GRRRR sooo NASTY!

Totally!!! There is one during the day mostly that is so nasty, but there is also one at night (Joan maybe?) who is a doll.

I just called now and I didn't get her name but she is not very nice!! I am paying alot of money and I should not have to deal with her attitude problem! Especially when I am very nice on the phone!

Joan has been a friend of my family for a long time, she is absolutely wonderful. When i went in to meet with frank marino, she told me not to get my hopes up since it was january 2006 and i was trying to book for the same year, but she was so helpful as well. I have never called during the day, but now i definitely will wait until the evening if i need to call for something

When I was first looking into Fox Hollow I called to ask about coming in on a Saturday and to ask about available dates...all the lady kept saying was come in on Saturday and wouldn't even put me through to someone. I'm glad they ended up having the day I wanted available. It's as though she doesn't want to be bothered doing her job.

She said the same thing to me, I wanted to book an appointment, and she was like, just come in. We don't have any appointments. We don't schedule them, and then that was it. But we met with Frank Marino, and he was wonderful, Charlie, the guy we are working with now, is also wonderful.

Hi everyone I've been a bit of a lurker here for a while, but up until recently I was planning on having a destination wedding. Making a very long story short, due to numerous complications my FH and I decided to get married here a little over a month ago, and since we were already locked into our travel reservation for this upcoming June, we had very little time to book a hall! Miraculously, Fox Hollow had availability on such short notice, so we are booked for 6/18/06.

Which brings me to a question: I've been rushing around trying to book everything as quickly as possible. Since it's all been so last minute and we are on a limited budget, I've been calling in favors with family and friends to secure vendors. Recently I attended a tea party night at the Fox Hollow where I discovered the hall's required insurance coverage for vendors who work there. My photographer is a family friend who does photography as a side business and doesn't have the insurance coverage they require. I am trying to make contact with my BM to see what my options are, but I figured I would ask if anyone on here has had this problem and if so what can be done about it.

I would really appreciate any information anyone could provide. Thanks!

I think he might be able to apply for temporary insurance for that day. I think I remember hearing something about that at one of the Fox Hollow planning seminars. Keep trying to get in touch with someone at Fox Hollow...they shoould be able to tell you how to go about obtaining the insurance info. Good luck!

i heard the news about frank and emailed arthur immediately (i had met him twice and thought he was great). He was SOOOO responsive. Although frank was great, i've had a hard time getting in touch with him. arthur, however, emailed me back just a few hours later AND called me. if you need to find someone to work with in frank's place, i highly recommend using him.

Chair Cover Question -

Is anyone in the Garden Terrace using chair covers? If so what colors? Will they match the table linens? (Just what I needed, something new to obsess about!)

I got married in Jan. and had the Garden Terrace Room. We didn't use chair covers and the room still looked really nice. If you want to see pics, look in my community album.

I'm having my wedding in the Garden Terrace but I'm not having chair covers. The chairs are pretty nice and I think they match the table linens well.

On another note, I noticed a post about updates being done to the Briar Fox room and the carpeting outside it. Does anyone know whether Fox Hollow is doing any updates to the Garden Terrace?
