Thats even worse, i have never even met with PWP, i called them to book the tasting thing, but that has been my only contact with them. I figured i will meet with them to see what they have to offer, but I am hoping to have most of my stuff done by then anyway.
By the way, i meant to tell you, your teeth look amazing!

Honestly, I think PWP was not necessary at all. They are like 'planners' and run through the whole process, when to get vendors, deadlines, they offerr their preferred vendors and such. When we went, it was not beneficial at all.

I agree I didn't think they were beneficial either..I am really not even crazy about the vendors. I have yet to book one of them..not to say they arent good but I just was not interested

They seem to be much pricier than I'm looking to spend!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

The only FH vendor I booked was Royalty. We met with PWP once and never went back to do our 'final checklist'.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Can I just tell you what happened to me last Tuesday?! We had an appointment to meet with Richard the in-house florist. We get there and they tell us he went home for the night because they were told my wedding was cancelled!!!!! (They made a couple of calls and straightened it out, but I have no idea why the mix-up happened.)

Richard lives nearby, so they called him and had him come back to meet with us (we looked through the invitation books to pass the time). Anyway, he rushed through the whole meeting - it was such a waste of time for us. James tried to 'make nice' but seriously, we have absolutely no use for the PWP or the in-house florist RIchard.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

When I went to the PWP tea they made me feel like I was soooo behind schedule! Not everyone lives and breathes their wedding plans. Give me a break. I'm still not done with a ton of stuff - but I'm doing fine and I didn't need them making me feel like a loser for not having this or that done!

I forgot to write the good news!

First of all, the new carpet looks beautiful.

and
WGP LADIES - THIS IS FOR YOU!!!!

The chairs are AWFUL. Keith, the director of operations, was in the lobby and I had a pleasant coversation with him. He said that repainting them just isn't cutting it anymore.

He told me that THEY ARE NOW INCLUDING IVORY CHAIR COVERS with the WGP, until the NEW CHAIRS arrive!!!!!

According to Keith, the interior designer has very specific taste. She has been ordering most of the materials from Europe, and its taking them a while to get here. He said he's not sure when they're due in, but new chairs are DEFINITELY on the way!

That made my day!!!!

damit that is the only thing i would have liked to do that i didnt do. ohh well
good for all the rest of you WGP room girls i cant wait to get pictures back so all of you can see how beautiful the room looked that night!!!!!!

By any chance are they supplying chair covers for the Garden Terrace? I'm having a difficult time deciding whether or not to rent chair covers. If they're included my problem is solved!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

So we went for our 'Final Menu' meeting last night, which covers basically everything, not just the menu selection as I originally thought. Jenn N was absolutely amazing, fun, sweet, great to work with!!!! FI and I told her that she can come live with us b/c we loved her so much (no perverted intentions!) She answered every single one of my fourteen questions w/out batting an eye. We went over EVERYTHING possibly imagined, so that we're pretty set until April 20 when we call for the headcount, and the week before when we make our final payment!

We picked our menu, selected our cake (yellow sponge w/vanilla custard and fresh strawberries,) she gave us the seating chart, other details about vendors we have to provide, we picked our linens (ivory and GOLD - of course) and we added the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN and yes, the CHAIR COVERS! I'm so glad I never placed the order for the chair covers online like I originally was going to do. We also picked our bridal attendant (Jen - thanks to Hollie) and our MD (Angel - who was the first person I met at Fox Hollow and knew it was an 'omen'.)

Sooooo...I honestly could not be happier! Everything is exactly how I imagined it and what we both wanted! We're so excited and so happy to have picked Fox Hollow!

Hollie: I asked if you had mini or the full viennese - turned out that WAS the mini!!!!! Could you imagine what the full would be like? Geezzz....Oh, and Jenn N. says hi and said the two of you were the 'sweetest and most romantic couple she had ever seen' and Ricky and I agreed 100000% and said that you and John are an example of what love truly is.

Oh, and to someone who asked what the chair covers look like: they're ivory damask...match the table covers exactly! Here's a picture I found online, though similar, not exact.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

This cake talk is definitely making me hungry...i feel like i read a while back that people said one of the cakes was better than the other. Which was the better one....yellow or chocolate.

Also, did anyone have their ceremony at the FH. I'm interested in hearing how that went.

CONGRATULATIONS

LAURA & PHIL

Hope you have a wonderful day!

I just saw this post! Thank you!!! It was a wonderful day I really can't complain. FH did an excellent job. Roy was our Matre D (can't spell, sorry) and Jenn was my bridal attendant. I didn't ask for much but every time DH turned around he had a fresh beer- even when the first one wasn't finished. The only thing that got confused and resulted in missed pictures was Jenn told DH to go straight through the tunnel our BP made for us and either she was wrong or our photographer and videographer weren't told that we were going right through and they both ran to the other side to get the shot. The photos were crooked and not the best but I can't fault my photo guys! He slid on his back on the floor to try to get it!

Everyone said the food was great and we had a last min add on of a ceremony with warm sweet milk and they got it perfect! The day ran like clockwork!! I'll post a full review in another week or so. I actually typed up the pre-wedding reviews already so I just have to add the day of parts! FH is a great place to have a wedding- I'm glad we went there!
