I am in the Winter Garden Pavillion

So question for anyone who is geting/has gotten married at the Fox Hollow on a Friday night...my issue is that we are having the ceremony at FH as well and I really dont want my fiance to see my before the ceremony, so we will have to take pictures during the cocktail reception at 8PM. But I really liked the idea of taking pictures outside. Is it possible and will it look weird to take pictures outside at 8PM after the sun has set?

I would talk to your photographer and see if they have any suggestions and ask them to see samples of photos taken outside at night. I have seen some and I think they can be really beautiful if they're done right.

hmpena, those look great. I guess I was just concerned because I have never seen a wedding album with night pictures. We will of course have some of them taken inside, but I want a good amount of them, like the ones with my BM's, outside since I wasnt crazy about that photo room they have.

Did anyone else have their ceremony there? I want to here more about how that went.

I'm back! I have good news AND bad news........

The bad news first - I couldn't take any pics, the floors were being cleaned.

AND James (of PWP fame) got sick, and LEFT EARLY.....and no one called me to cancel the appt. In fact, I called 1 hr before my appt to see if we could come early, and they said 'SURE! James isn't in the office - he probably went to dinner...but he'll be back by 6, for sure!'
