Who would think it would be 79 degrees in November? We could not have asked for a more beautiful day…everything was perfect.

Rehearsal Dinner at Buongusto in Roslyn – A+
The food was excellent. The waiters and maitre’ d took extra special care of us. We had a separate room that can easily accommodate 50 people. I highly recommend them.

Shea Stadium Grooms Cake: Hey! Cookie in Williston Park – A++++
Janet is amazing!! We could not believe how great the cake came out. Her prices are very reasonable, and she delivered the cake for us. It was a big hit!

The Inn at Fox Hollow – A-
Overall, they were very good. We had a couple of room and billing mix-ups, but other than that no complaints. The rooms were gorgeous and the breakfast was great. The honeymoon suite was really nice….champagne, chocolates and rose petals (faux) all over the bedroom.

The Best Western in Woodbury – C
I stopped there 2 days before to drop off the welcome baskets. They were labeled with each person’s name. I went through a checklist with them and everything. Yet, some people didn’t get baskets and some got other people’s baskets. I haven’t called them yet, but I was very disappointed.

Hair and Makeup: Salon di Capelli in New Hyde Park– A+++++
I can only say that Irene is amazing. My hair came out better than I ever expected. I cancelled with Jen from Fairytale Makeovers to stay with her, she is truly talented. Dena did my make-up, and it was perfect…not too much, very classic. They took such great care of me, my mom and all of my bridesmaids. I highly recommend them.

Fine Art Photography – A
Chuck and his assistant were so great. I was a little late getting back from my hair appt, but they didn’t make me feel rushed at all. And we had all of our pics done before cocktail hour. I haven’t gotten any proofs yet, but I’m really excited to see them. One suggestion…make a list, no matter how simple it seems. We forgot a few things, like single pictures with each of the groomsmen and a couple of people we left out, and definitely regret not having a list.

Fine Art Videography – A
The only time we noticed Bobby was during our first dance, and he let us know he’d be close. Other than that, he was completely unobtrusive. He was really sweet and everyone had a great time with him. We can’t wait to see the raw footage.

Coachman Limos – A++
They were early for every pickup and each of our drivers were a pleasure. Vinny helped us with every detail. We had 2 limos, a Rolls Royce, a party bus for after the church, another bus for service from each of the hotels to and from the reception, a limo for us at the end of the night, and service for our honeymoon. Absolutely amazing!

My Dress: Macy*s in Manhasset – A++
Faye is the best. She did everything right, and made me feel like a princess every time I was there. Everyone there was very helpful, and I never had any problems.

Bridesmaid Dresses: Here Comes the Bridesmaid – A+
Simple. We ordered the dresses and they came in within 6 weeks. They don’t do any alterations there, but we got an amazing deal…$250 (including tax) for our $350 everywhere else Lazaro dresses.

Pamela’s Shoes in Hewlett – C
I had a bunch of little problems here. They charged one of my girls the wrong amount, and twice. My shoes weren’t ready when they were supposed to be, and they acted like it was not a big deal. The shoes came out great, but I just wasn’t thrilled with their service.

Ray’s Tuxedos – A+
They were really helpful. No problems at all.

Flowers: Milleridge Florist – A+
Everything was great. The flowers were beautiful, even prettier than I thought they’d be. They were delivered on time, with no mistakes. I was very happy with everything.

Band, DJ & Cocktail Hour Piano Player: The Band Store – A
Our band T-Bone was amazing. They kept everyone up the whole night. We had the DJ to play today’s music, which he did a great job of. They worked together great. My only complaint is that they never announced when the last song was played…they just let everyone know it was over after it :o(

The Milleridge Cottage – A+++++++++++++
For all of you Cottage brides out there, you will definitely not be disappointed. Everything was amazing. Nadine was so great to work with, absolutely fantastic. Everything was set up exactly like I wanted. Steve was our maitre’d and he was great. He went above and beyond for us. Everyone is still talking about the food, the service, everything!! It was my dream come true!

We honeymooned in St. Croix and St. Maarten, both beautiful islands and a lot of fun!!

Great review! Congrats! I agree about the Milleridge. My best friend had her reception there on Oct. 25 and it was amazing, from the service to the food. And the place is gorgeous!
Would you mind FMing the cost of the cake also? FH is a Mets fan too. Thanks
