I have to book limos, invites and small things like that but most things are done

I need to do everything!

I still need to:

- book the church (we couldnt until 2004)
- book the band (he mailed out the contract on Saturday
- find and book a photographer
- find and book a florist
- order my dress (i think its the one )
- find a veil and tiara
- find and order the BM dresses
- order the wedding bands - we picked them out last weekend
- order invites ( i know which ones at least!)
- order all the little things (Like the placecard holders, favors, bathroom baskets...and so on - all the fun stuff that will take me forever to do!!)
- make the church programs and the menu cards
- decide on whether I am doing my own makeup and hair

and so on!!
OK - i have overwhelmed myself - there is so much to do - i need to get cracking!!

We are working on the church as well as the other vendors. I'm also starting to dress idea shop.

I've booked the reception hall, church, and florist. Next week, we start interviewing the photographers. I started making my invites, to make sure I like there turn out. But I have to come up with ideas for the stds, since we decided not to have an e-party.
Have any of you completed your registry? My MOH suggested that I do it by the summer. Guess thats when they're going to start throwing parties.

i haven't booked anything and i feel behind. i went to a couple of reception halls but i haven't found the one yet. will be going to a couple places this week and next week.

I've booked ceremony and reception location, purchased my dress, tiara, and veil, and have started picking up small things here and there - trying ti spread it out so it doesn't all hit me at once! :o) Got to get in gear though with photo/video, florist, and dj. It's hard to do from San Diego! I think I know who I want for everything - just got to see if they're available and put the money down!

Well I have all the small stuff so far:
garters
ring pillow
flower basket
toasting flutes
cake serving plates
cake topper
guest book
misc decrative items
I also have a wedding album, but I need to have the photo pages replaced, it has those sticky ones that ruin the pics. (its a musical Hello Kitty wedding album...adorable!)
I plan on making lollipop favors, I got a Hello Kitty mold off ebay yesterday.
I made STD's on the computer, and have the card stock for them, just have to get ink and clear address labels.

All the big stuff I have not done yet:

hall/food: in process of trying to secure a location thru a caterer that I am pretty much set on having. Prices are good, just a matter of availibility.

DJ: meeting with Tommy Tunes later in the week, we will see about prices.

pics: no clue! need inexpensive options!

dress: have a dream dress in mind, tried on a few today...1900$ price tags are making my eyes pop out of my head! Have to call around about the dream dress and also check the Davids bridals 99$ sale!

invites:???Make myself? Have them done? no clue yet b/c wedding is the fisrt day of summer, informal type of thing.

flowers- James Cress, old family friends.

Shoes veil ect...have to wait on dress for that.

*We have the church booked.
*The rehersal is booked (not the dinner, just at the church).
*The reception is booked at Giorgio's.
*Photo and Video is booked with Duet.
*Our baker is Create-a-cake in Port Jeff.
*Our DJ is taken care of (Keep Dancin')
*I decided on the bridesmaid dresses, now the girls just have to decide which ones they want because we are going with seperates.
*We bought our champagne flutes.
*We chose our invites, but we're waiting on ordering them until the end of the year.
*I have the most amazing FH that I have been dreaming of forever!!!

I thought I had more than that done, but the list doesn't really seem that long.
We were planning on going with James Cress in Port Jeff for flowers because a family member works for them, but I'm afraid the price will be too high and I don't want to say no after getting their quote because I don't want them to think I was only going to them to get some kind of deal. I know their stuff is beautiful and I would love to go with them for sure, but I think I am probably going to check out Burton's. Even though I haven't gone in to speak with them, I've seen their work from friends' weddings and its amazing for a really good price.

RE: James cress...I know they are pricey too, but what I want is so small that I can prolly swing having them do it. I only want the 3 boK's (mine throw and MOH) bountaniers<---spelling? and one nice centerpice for the cake table. my table gets 2 white roses and all the other tables get one single sunflower (a big one!). I have the vase for my table already. ( a Hello kitty bride and groom ) I think in June they are in season...or just starting to be in season.
I have a first day of summer wedding so it has to be summer-y, and sunflowers do it! Plus I love them.
And I'm not a big flower kind of girl, they die in a week anyway.

Oh no, looks like I am really behind!!! I booked the reception site and I have a DJ (hes a friend)!!!

We are currently working on finding a church and photographer.

I didnt think I was doing too bad but I guess I am!
