Pregnant Bridesmaids

Hey all,
Two of my bridesmaids will be pregnant for my wedding, I am really not sure how to handle the dress situation. Does anyone know which designers make maternity bm's dresses if any? How do they handle the fittings if you don't use special dresses? Help!

Re: Pregnant Bridesmaids

My sister plans on being pregnant for my wedding. She just ordered a bigger size in her dress. The seamstress said that it makes a big difference if this is her first or second pregnancy...Just tell the seamstress and she will tell them what size to get..

Re: Pregnant Bridesmaids

At my brothers wedding his SIL was about 4-5 months pregnant! The seamstress did a great job, and used the same dress we all got, they just ordered it in a bigger size! The ordered a bigger size, took in the top had to re work it a bit, her alterations probably cost more than the cap but it looked great! They can do amazing things those women!

I was at Lillettes and saw that they had maternity bm gowns too!

Re: Pregnant Bridesmaids

my bm will be 6 mos by then. she ordered from rk bridal's no frills program. got the dress in a huge ass size and her own seamstress will alter it to fit her.

the lady at rk bridal said that the seamstress should alter it in a trapeeze sort of way, so that there's more room at the belly than at the sides.

Re: Pregnant Bridesmaids

David's has beautiful maternity BM dresses, designed to coordinate with most of their regular BM styles.
