NWR (?) Why can't I stop eating cookies?

Ok, so this is only loosely wedding-related (i.e., concerns about fitting into dress)
But I seemingly have a cookie addiction that is rearing its ugly head at holiday time. Now I love my work secret santa, but for the LOVE OF GOD stop giving me cookies. I've lost all self-control. Why do I bother going to the gym if I'm then going to eat like 10 oreos. UGH!!!

Anyone else out there relate!?!?

I CAN RELATE!!! I love cookies - I also love anything sweet for that matter!
Yesterday I just had to have a 560 calorie small milkshake from burger king! It was total PMS cravings - it was sooo good.

I just forced myself to endure an extra-tough cardio workout at the gym. Once I burned 360 calories, I was satisfied that I had gotten rid of enough of the milkshake! LOL

lol...YES! I relate! Cookies, especially Chocolate Chip ones are my WEAKNESS! Its rare for me to find a cookie I don't like....

Just keep thinking...MODERATION. One for each hand, not as many as will pile into both hands. It's tough, stay strong!

I do enjoy and eat cookies but mostly when AF is around. My favorite and a pitstop almost everyday of that week is McDonalds Homemade chocolate chip cookies...YUMMY!

I wish I could blame'PMS' for every sweet attack I have... I just love anything sweet...I could be full from a meal but give me almost anything sweet and suddenly I can eat...just like it was said I go to the gym to avoid gaining any weight...not losing it....lol

i think its that time of year. my FILs bought 15 pounds, yes 15! of random italian cookies for our engagement party last weekend. there were only like 50 people there and we had tons of other desserts. needless to say i had a whole bunch with me at the beginning of the week. not so much anymore.

they're just so darn good

I can totally relate. I've been an animal lately!

I have a theory. Its winter. Its rainy and chilly out. Back in pre-historic times cavemen didn't have luxuries like heat and warm clothes/coats. So he ate to fatten up for winter. Much like wild animals do. So its instinctive for us to do the same, all these centuries later.

It may not be a great theory, but I'm going with it. At least until January, when I go on a really strict diet so I can fit in my gown!

why cant i stop eating EVERYTHINGGGG. omg i keep telling myself its holiday time and ill get better in january.... but i am gonna go dress shopping tomorrow for the first time, and i am a good 20 lbs heavier than i want to be
