Head table at reception? Who is having one?

Who is having a head table for their reception? -What is everyone's plan for seating arrangments for their BM and GM --and THEIR significant other?

DH and I were alone at a sweetheart table.

The groomsemen and their dates were at one table and the bridesmaids were kind of scattered among 3 different tables ( 2 bridesmaids at each of the 3 tables)

All I know is that I want to have a sweetheart table of just myself and DH. Haven't thought about where to put the bridal party. Next to us with significant others most likely.

I am not having a head table just a table for me & DH. I am scattering the BP around depending on where they would sit if they weren't in teh BP b/c we feel that they should sit with people that they know and can have a good time w/.

We sat at a sweetheart table and our BP sat among our family & friends.

bride and groom at sweetheart table and bm's and Gms will be sitting with their dates with people they know

parents will be 1st table on each side of room

We're going to sit at a table with our best man and his date, MOH and her date, and FSIL (also a BM) and her date. The rest of the bridal party will be scattered amongst tables with our friends. I like the idea of having some of our close friends/family with us. I'm also not a big fan of the sweetheart table, but that's just my own personal preference.

i had to sit at a head table recently, with my FH at a table with no one he knew. It was awful. THe BP table was actually a long table facing the reception - a la 1987 (sorry if anyone is doing this, but it's so dated to me.)

I would seat them with their date, or friends.

Since my sis is my MOH and FBIL is my BM, we will all sit together with FSIL and sis's BF. I have 30+ years to eat dinner 'alone' with FH

FH and I will be sitting with our entire bridal party and their SO/dates at one table. They are our closest friends/family and we will have the best time with them!

FH and i will be alone at the head table..i want out BP to enjoy our day with the friends they are comfortable with....while i hope my bp will grow to really like each other...you will always want to be near your friends

FH are sitting alone
at the table left of us are his GM and some of my single friends from college
at the table to the right of us are some of my BM and dates and some other single girls

cousin (BM) is sitting with her family and so is FSIL
same thing at his table ...my brother is sitting with his friends and his Brother is sitting with his family
