Don't worry, weather.com says there's only a 30% chance of few showers! It can easily be a nice day.

i got married on 9/18 - the day hurricane ivan hit. I was bummed leading up to that day. When I woke up that morning, nothing could ruin that day -- I didn't even care about the rain. I know it sounds crazy and I never would have believed that beforehand but its absolutely true.

also, you never know how long the bad weather will last -- we ended up having our venetian hour outdoors like we planned becasue the weather eventually cleared up. Its really very unpredictable.

Don't dwell on it - it can always pass.

That wasn't my case but honestly DH and I didn't even care or really notice. We hadn't planned for anything to be outside so that part didn't matter.
We didn't get wet because the limo company used these huge golf umbrellas.

We were so excited and happy on our day that you really don't notice or care about the weather

If you're going to be out in the rain, what better day than your wedding day. On that day you are the princess - people will hold umbrellas over you, cars will make extra stops for you, your dress will be well protected by those around you.

I got married on the same day and had the same problems. It is exactly true about you never know about the weather. I left my house it stopped raining, got inside church it rained, left church no rain and by the time I got to the reception it has stopped raining completely that I was still able to take my outside pictures. It is your day and not matter rain or shine it is your day and you will never forget it.

Don't let the day ruin what you had planned for what seems like forever!!!!

Rain or shine, wakeup in the morning with a huge smile and have a blast!!!! Weather on a sunny day or in the rain

My day was awful. But to be honest, I barely noticed. The only thing that stinks is we have no outdoor pics but really, don't let it bother you. It's rain, not snow so it could be worse.

It rained all day for mine. I guess I was prepared with all the weather reports, that I didn't let it affect me.
Going to get my hair done I brought an umbrella and they helped me walk to my car.
I was just so thrilled that it was my wedding- I never let the rain bother me once. We took pictures inside Fox Hollow Inn (Hotel) and then at my reception hall.
Besides the rain & traffic for my guests- nothing affected us. We we're just thrilled all day long.
I'm sure your photographer will be looking out for the breaks in the rain & get some good outdoor shots for you.
P.S. One of my best pictures is the one holding an umbrella- Probably cause it's a rare shot.

It almost rained on my wedding day, but my brother was just married on April 2nd and if you remember that day we had terrential downpours.
They took it in stride, it's good luck to rain on your wedding day! You shouldn't stress about things that are way out of your control. We had plastic bags on our hair so it didn't get wet, and someone was watching over them casue the rain stopped a couple min before we got in the limo and didn't start again until we got to the reception.

My brother's bride looked beautiful and wasn't going to let the rain ruin her day, after all she was marrying the love of her life and nothing else mattered.

weather is the one thing you cant plan...so whatever happens take it in stride, no matter what you will be beautiful! you will be treated even more like a princess! Dont even think about it, cause it wont help at all, it will only stress you out...

as of right now, the forecast for Saturday says... Saturday: Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s.

don't stress over it, no one can control the weather... you will have a beautiful wedding now matter what!

it was suppose to rain during our wedding day. well, it did but just here and there. luckily it didn't rain during our ceremony which was outdoors and i wasn't willing to change venues for. if it rains it rains. you have absolutely no control over waht mother nature gives us. don't let it stress you out. it'll just make you look stressed during yoru special day. just don't worry about it.. stay zen

So true!!!!! It rained just as I was leaving for church but it stopped when the mass was over. but its fun to be waited on like that!!!

thats what my stepsister said when it started to rain, it rained on her day too!!! It was a blast dont sweat it at all!!! It will be wasted energy!! YOu will still have the time of your life whether its rainy or sunny!!

I got married in a hurricane. There was rain, thunder and lightning. I still took my pics outside and had my ceremony outside. The roads were so bad that on my way to oheka some of the roads were actually closed. Honestly, while I was freaking out that week. The hurricane was probably my favorite part of the wedding. My poor guests had to sit freezing in the rain. But it did not stop anything!!

i heard it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day!
