After you ordered your gown...

did you call the store where you purchased it to give you an estimated time of when it will arrive? If so, how long did you call after ordering the dress?

1 month to the day! I called, and they gave me the estimated date of arrival. I also made an appointment to try on the sample again after my hair trial with my headpiece. A nice way to pass the time while waiting for it to come in! LOL

I ordered my dress in April. Calling to get an ETA is on my list of things to do right now.

I didn't call.......Am I supposed to?? They told me in March when I ordered that my dress would arrive in 8-9 months.

I would call just to confirm the order and get the ETA again. Normally, you speak with the person who places the orders. I was told the same thing with my coordinator, but even she told me to call back and ask to speak with the girl who places the orders just to confirm. It can't hurt!

i didnt think to do this either i ordered in february and they said it would be in in november so i was going to call then

I emailed the lady a few days ago and she is supposed to get back to me with an ETA. I was told about 6 months.

Well, I asked then and there too and they told me 6-7 months but I didn't know if I should call to see if they have a better ETA (and to ensure the dress was ordered)....

About 2 months later I went there and they told me it was ordered.
They said it would come in 2 months before the wedding, they say that to everyone. Its probably a load of BS, so I just emailed the designer to see if they could tell me if it was ordered.
Honestly I don't really care as long as I have it in time for fittings before the wedding. I also told them my date was 3 weeks before the real date.

when i got my dress they told me i think 4-5 months and to come back in oct or Nov for the girls dresses but she said i could call back in a week or so to get a better idea
