Antique Cars - long distance
Getting ready to book limos and car, just wanted to ask if anyone is riding in a Rolls or Caddy for almost an hour. My church and reception are quite a distance apart. Did anyone have problems with an antique car? I keep hearing they break down during long drives and that they can't go aboce 45 miles per hour. If I choose against it, What are some alternatives? Thanks!

Re: Antique Cars - long distance
there is quite a bit of a charge for long distance... you should ask for a quote before booking.

Re: Antique Cars - long distance
i had 3 limo companies tell me they did not recommend an antique car for my wedding since my house was 45 minutes away from the church...they mentioned that the older cars are often unreliable and can break down a lot. (My fsil confirmed this when she told me how her RR broke down 3 different times between her church and the reception hall that was only about 15 minutes away)i think that there are some cars that look like RR but are really cars with newer engines/etc? (Not sure if that makes sense...)
