SWR: weight watchers
I'm going to do it. I'm joining WW and going to try to lose the 20 lbs. I've gained. My motivation will be knowing how great I'll feel in my wedding dress.

Re: SWR: weight watchers
Good Luck.. Weight Watchers has great results that stay off longer.. I myself tried WW but didn't stick to it like I should have.. I may try Atkins again.. I just want to lose 8-10lbs though.. so I think Atkins may be a quicker solution.. either that or Tic Tacs and water!!!

Re: SWR: weight watchers
I've been on WW on and off over the past few years and it is the only thing that worked for me. I don't go to the meetings as I do all the points counting online which I find is the most convenient for me. Good luck!!

Re: SWR: weight watchers
I am a HUGE weightwatchers fan. I did weightwatchers a few years ago and lost 30 lbs. I have kept off most of it (I gained about 8 lbs back, but at my lowest I was actually underweight for my height, so it's all evened out). It really is a great program. It gives you the flexibility to eat what you want - it's really all about portion control and making 'healthier' choices. But, you can still splurge on chocolate and go out to dinner every now and again. If you need any advice on this, just let me know - I always found it helpful to get different ideas of low point recipes, snacks, etc. - so you don't get bored with eating the same things over and over. I am doing weightwatchers on my own right now to shed a few pounds before the wedding. It really works!!! Good luck!!

Re: SWR: weight watchers
We're doing it at work and in 7 weeks I lost 12lbs. It's a great, easy plan to stay on as long as you count your points. I love it!! Only 15 lbs. to go!!

Re: SWR: weight watchers
the meetings are about 30-45 minutes. however if it is your first meeting they want you to stay after the meeting so they can explain the program to you. i am a huge fan of weight watchers. it is an excellent program. good luck!
