Official Polish American Brides Thread

I'm Polish and proud of it. Any other Polish or Polish American Brides out there??

Do you have any must play or even must not play polish songs? I refuse to have to listen to any 'DiscoPolo' at my wedding.

Also, are there any Polish traditions that you're following? Or maybe refusing to follow?

I'm definatly doing the whole bread, salt, wine thing.

YES!! Polish and Proud. I'm definately doing the bread, salt and wine too, but I'm not sure what else. Anyone else have any suggestions???

Im doing the bread and salt blessing but I didnt know there was wine as well....

Listen girls...we have to coordinate with the music somehow as well...my DJ is not Polish and I want some good Polish music...so far all I have is 'Hei Sokoly'... thats it!

I have the name of a great Polish DJ if anyone is interested. He speakes both Polish and English well. I'm so excited about having him play at my wedding. I'm signing him, officially, on saturday.

and also my fh is from 'sokoly' that a small city near bialystok so song 'hej sokoly' is a musttt....hmm what else..o and the tradition is that we must have a full mass at the church but i dono......it's too longg
