small wedding reception 50-60 people-Help

My FH and I are having a small receptio only 50-60 people. any reccomendationf for places? We would really love to have it by the water preferably on the south shore in suffolk county. i would love to have at least ehe ceremony and cocktailparty outside if if possible. most of thepalces i have looked at so far have way to ahigh a minimum for me

what about lido golf club? its no on the water but its by the water-- also bridgeview yaht club

Hmmm, the places on the south shore that I know are Captain Bills, Venetian Yacht Club, Riverara...and I think there is one other. You may want to look at a restaurant ..Oh what about the Riverview?? They could possibly help you! I think they are in Oakdale..

Try the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook.
It's the North Shore but it's beautiful, right across from the water and will take as small a party as you want.

I second the Three Village Inn, they have a great room for a smaller party. We have had many family parties there and they are always fantastic.

the watermill has a beautiful small room for that number of people. i just booked my reception there today for next december! it's not on the water, but it's in suffolk and you can have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside in the beautiful gardens with nice waterfalls.

i was going to recommend the 3 village inn too... we had our e-party here, it was awesome and sooo yummy!

The Snapper Inn will also accomodate a smaller party. If you are willing to go to the north shore, there is also Danford's in Pt Jeff & The Thatched Cottage in Eastport.

The Thatched Cottage is in Centerport actually..which is nowhere near Eastport.

Three Village Inn - although when I checked with them, their minimum was 90. Maybe they can work with you though.

That is for one of the bigger rooms I believe, there is a smaller room that the minimum is only 55 or 60.

For a small reception on the water in suffolk, I would definitely look at Louis XVI in Patchougue. It's amazing there. I would also suggest Captain Bill's.

Check out Captain Bill's in Bay Shore. They have a big ballroom for larger receptions, but they also have 2 rooms for smaller receptions and a beautiful deck on the water for the cocktail hour.
