We met on Friday the 13th (december 13, 2002) and we wanted to get married in April. We were excited when we saw that April 13th, 2007 was a Friday

We wanted a holiday weekend, and we met on Memorial Day. So it worked out.

thats my wedding date

We orignially booked 9/10/06, but then had to postpone a few months due to FH's surgery. We didn't want to get married during the winter so the next warmest month date available on a Sunday was either May or June. Prices had gone up since we booked(back in 2005) so whether we did April or May didnt matter our price wouldnt change, and even though April costs less than May it didnt effect our price. If we wanted June we'd have to pay more pp. So May 20, 2007 is the date we booked. Its also my dad's birthday.

I have always pictured myself getting married in September... there's just something about that month. With a little luck we'll have typical September weather-- not too humid, not too cold and just beautiful I really love that month and I like the change of summer into fall a lot also... apple picking, pumpkin picking, etc. SO much fun! I was going to have it in the middle of the month but I was worried about it being cold-- FF has a beautiful outside area that is next to the CH room so I want people to use that. Also, as it gets later the sun goes down earlier so that made a big difference. And for some reason I wanted to have it before 9/11... it's a very sad day and puts me in a funk for a while so I didn't want to have that on my mind b/c for some reason I don't anticipate the day coming. I thought labor day was too early and can sometimes be hectic-- so September 9th was perfect!!!

may/june are expensive months and i always wanted a summer wedding, so july 1st seemed like a great runner up to 7-7-07 ( which is a sat. wedding a much more expensive)
plus we will always have a company holiday off for independence day

FH fell in love with the date 7-7-07 and thought it would be the luckiest day ever to get married...seeing him that excited about the date was so cute that I instantly agreed and 7-7-07 it is!

Originally I wanted to get married on SAT 06/30/07 - bc thats the exact date that me and Fh met - only in 2001. The date wasnt available - so we went for the week before instead! 06.23.07

We picked April 15th because that is when DH's grandparents were married. They died when Kevin was a baby and we thought it would be a nice way to honor them. Turns out it was on a Saturday, what a coincidence. Also, I am a CPA and I thought getting married on tax day would be ironic

July 13, 2007- FRIDAY THE 13th!!!! HAHA!

We wanted a summer month because our dating anniversary was 1.8.99... always coooold winter weather, we wanted a warm anniversary date for the rest of our lives. So we went to the Woodlands and all she had left was July 13... We dove on it! In the italian culture, 13 is a LUCKY #... and my mom was born on a friday the 13th too... Our wedding day will be my mom's 70 1/2 b-day! hehe

Honestly, price. that's it... i hate the winter, i hate the cold, but here i am getting married in February! but FH and I couldn't have had the wedding we're having at any other time of year... we're barely going to swing it as it is....

Although ideally, i love April... my b-day month and i love the spring, but my break from school falls at easter and thatdidn't work...no time for honeymoon. summer would have been nice too...

oh, well!

Well,,,,we originally wanted 7-7-07 because finace and I both love to play cards and go to Vegas and AC! We even had told everyone that that would be our date! But with teaching and coaching and my masters program,,I couldnt get a break to look at reception halls until March of 06,,and that date was already booked at the hall that I wanted,,my BM laughed at me actually when I told him the date I wanted! So the only available date for the Dome room fro the summer of 07 was a 8-10-07,,so I got stuck with that!!!! BUt I dont care,,,as long as I have the Dome room!!!

We were looking for a Holiday weekend so we could have it on a Sunday (pricing is better), and our OOT guests didn't have to take a day off on Monday.

Our original date was May 5th, but we didn't know it was Cinco De Mayo. We'd be partying hard regardless. Anyway, it falls on our anniversary. BUT...the pricing we got was ridiculous, so we chose the following day.
