Just be yourself... No matter what you'll have that Ecstatic and Surprised look on your face since everyone will be looking at the bride. All your friends and family are there to celebrate you. Enjoy every moment and don't do what I did... sit down and eat something. I was STARVING on the way home with all the gifts... Too much socializing with a glass of wine and no food.

I have worried about this myself. I know about the shower even though I am not supposed to and I am terrible at 'acting' surpised! I am going to have to practice my face!

I know my shower is this weekend too, my friend and FMIL slipped, not on purpose. My friend said it's on a 'funny day' and my FMIL said something about FSIL coming to town weeks ago this weekend (she didn't realize that I knew the invitation for the showers went out already)...so I figured it out...April 1st...April Fools day! LOL...but only my sister, mom, a couple of BM sand MOH know I know...so I have to act surprised too! I even bought a cute dress to wear so I'm sure they'll know that I know but seeing all the people will be the surprise. Are you dressing up too?

you know what, i had strong suspicions yet i was still very surprised!
nothing prepares u for all the smiling faces and all the gifts and decorations.. it is a very special day.

It sorta is a suprise b/c U don't know how the inside will look all decorated for your shower, so when you walk in just have a big smile on your face :)

mine is this weekend too... and i have to try to act surprised. I told my BMs that I know, but my mom is still in the dark she'd be crushed if she knew that I knew...

i'm going to do my darnedest to seem surprised!

Just run to your FH!! thats what I did (and I was REALLY surprised!!! if you want a really dramatic effect - run out the door!!!! LOLOL

I was going to dress up.. I bought such a cute dress.. but, I think it would be obvious.. so, I just went out tonight and bought a pair of short capris and a button down... I soooo want to wear the dress though.... mine is April 1st too!!!!

Wow!! alot of showers this weekend. Mine is this weekend as well. I have to act surprized as well. I told my bridesmaids that i am going to church and then to lunch at the garden city hotel with a really good friend of mine. So therefore i will be dressed up..... but wonderig if i should skip the dress and find maybe a nice pant outfit.
