Reception Places for 225+ people??

I haven't started to look for reception halls yet and honesetly I'm not sure where to start. We are going to have a pretty big wedding... between 225 and 265 (these were our prelim #'s).
Can anyone tell me some names of reception places on LI that hold this many people?
I am open to all suggestions.

Manor East has a room that accomodates up to 300 people. We had our reception there.It was great.

The Milleridge Inn holds that many as well as the Crescent Beach Club. The Garden City Hotel and I believe the North Ritz does as well- although you might have tables going onto the dance floor! The Crest Hollow has rooms that hold that many as well-I'm pretty sure they do @ least! I think Russos on the Bay can accomodate that many too! I'll try to think of more-as I know they're tons of them!

Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park caters to 400 and the minimum is 150.
Its big and spacious, and has some outdoor space

I believe that the Watermill can accomodate that much also.

Fox Hollow has room for 300, so does Westbury Manor and if they do, than I'm sure Chateau Briand does too!

The Watermill, Carlyle on the Green, Jericho Terrace.

Don't worry, you'll definately find one out there!

Carlyle on the Green can hold that many people comfortably.

We had our wedding at the Fox Hollow and we had 240 people in the Garden Terrace room and it was perfect! I think the max for the room is 275-300 people. I know that the Crest Hollow also has a lot of rooms to accomadate larger parties!

Holds 700 people!!!

Milleridge Cottage can hold up to 500.

Also El Caribe in Brooklyn can hold over 400. My FSIL had about 300 at her wedding there.

The Milleridge Cottage is where we got married , it's big & beautiful.
The Bourne Mansion in Sayville is BEAUTIFUL & huge! Oheka I'm pretty sure can do that number. The Harrison House is big as well. Good luck!!

Also the Westbury Manor holds up to 350 or so.

Giorgios at Fox Hill. I think they can hold up to 400. Its right on a golf course. They have a panoramic view of Baiting Hollow Riverhead area. The place is set up on a hill. Its really VERY pretty and the food is EXCELLENT!

Chateau Briand has the Leonardo Davinci which accomodates 400 people.

The Ballroom at my hall (Leonard's of Great Neck) holds up to 500.

I think Crest Hollow COuntry Club can also hold that many people and more. My senior prom was there and we definitely had like 500 people.

I am getting married at Bridgeview also and I am having 200 people. They do have a website, its www.bridgeviewyachtclub.com[/A]

West Lake Inn in Patchogue can hold 500.

We had our wedding there and it was beautiful!!!

Although, it is not in Long Island, we got married at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. It was beautiful and worth looking at.

Novemberbride is right. I am having my reception at the Manor East and the room that I am using (which is the room that she had) holds up to 300 people. We are going to have about 200 - 215 at our wedding.

Flowerfield canhold that many people, plus. We had 200 people at our reception and there was more than enough room for more. It is one wedding at a time there.
