what is your best cleaning secret?

since I'm here on LIW instead of cleaning my house, I thought it would be a bit more productive of me to talk about cleaning and hopefully picking up some great tips on how to make the job go faster!

I'm quite new at this cleaning thing so I need all the help I can get LOL!

In all seriousness, my only advice is to keep up with it - by cleaning as you go along all week, you free up some time on Saturdays and the amount to clean is not as much

I agree with Trish.
If things never get 'dirty', you never have to spend a lot of time cleaning!

Also, I've found that white vinegar makes glass, chrome, windows and tile sparkle like new.

my FMIL - she does great laundry!

FH (trying to be sweet) took my laundry home with his to do and of course gave it to his mom. She had some interesting comments about my 'delicates'. Apparently she is not a fan of the thong and ran out to buy me some cotton briefs. (Can you say Granny Panty!!)

LAMO meghan! that's too funny! I try to keep up with the house work all week, but my DH and puppy make it hard. My DH actually just said to me: Why do you knock yourself out like this? Why wash the sheets, you only did them last week! Yuck!!!!!

I need a cleaning lady again!

a stray. He's a mix between a golden retrevier and a collie (we think!)

Hre's a pic of my gross DH (LOL) and my pup, cooper!

awwwwww! He's so cute! my nextdoor neighbor has a cocker also and my dog and him are the best of friends! when one sees that the other is out in the back yard, he cries to be let out and then they spend the afternoon licking eachother through the fence!

If anyone finds a cleaning lady PLEASE pass her along my way. I hate to clean. I don't mind little things (laundry, dishes, dust, vacuum etc) But scroubing the tub and the kitchen floor really get to me. My DH likes to complain about the tub a lot and I have to remind him that he works in the oil business, therefore he makes the tub the dirtiest so it should be him to clean it. He doesn't get that

I don't really have too many great cleaning secrets, but thought this was a great post idea.

The one I can think of is if you have pets, and upholstered chairs, etc with pet hair on them, you can put on rubber gloves and dampen them slightly then rub the chair. The pet hair comes right off!
