for us, saving soo much due to off peak and its the month that started us ...

We chose May so that we could have cherry blossoms! We originally wanted June but were told by our florist that CBs would be impossible to get in June...so May it was!!!

fall is my favorite season & I always wanted a sunday wedding, so veterans day fell on a sunday in novemeber in 2012 and it was just perfect

our anniversary is in April so we knew we def wanted april. plus we wanted a spring wedding where it wouldnt be tooo hot...Fh gets super sweaty

All of my OOT family comes in July so i figured rather than have them make an extra trip...

I have to piggy back off a holiday b/c of FH's job - he is a teacher. I'm not a big fan of the sumer months (June-August) so I wanted spring. Memorial Day weekend worked b/c most people have off from work and for OOT guests they wouldn't need to take time off work for the wedding.

I really didn't want fall or winter - so we were left with May.. And it happens to be 2 days after my birthday

Because the weather is perfect in Tahiti in September...and that is where I am going for my honeymoon.

I did some research and found out that October is the driest month of the year for New York. I don't want it to rain

we're getting married on our 5 yrs anniversary..feb 26..and its also 4 days after my 25th

We wanted September but all the dates at our hall were booked so rather than waiting longer we opted for August. It's only a few weeks difference so it's not a big deal. Plus we get more sunlight in August than in September

well originally we wanted to do either July or August but 3 reasons we did not go this route was...

1) It's more $$

2) FH's family is flying in from England and Ireland and the airfare at that time is ridiculously expensive. April/May seemed to be more reasonable without going into the earlier months (Jan-March).

3) After really thinking about, I'd rather not be dripping in sweat on my wedding day lol

1st reason-it's 'off-season' = a little cheaper

2nd reason-I love fall colors

3rd reason - I would never want to miss a beach day to have to go to a wedding-even if it is my own

May 1st will be our 5 year anniversary. Then a ::Cough:: friend booked her wedding 2 weeks before then, knowing full well that we were looking at 5/1. So then we looked at June and somehow wound up in the middle on May 14th!

We chose march because that was as long as I was willing to wait. Then DH said he really wanted to get married this summer but I didn't want to get married during a 'hot' month. We settled on September/October and then picked a date.

Both my parents and FH's parents got married in June so we thought it was nice to also get married in June too : )

I am a teacher and we both knew we wanted a summer wedding. July is perfectly in the middle of summer!

we chose january because it was the month that everything began for us, and we wanted to stay very close to our actual dating anniversary, which falls on a thursday. and we both love the cold and wanted a winter wedding.

I wanted a Fall wedding because I hate the hot weather and rainy season, and Spring lately has still been really cold and snowy/wet. So we decided on first weekend of November, but were flexible a few weeks back in to mid-October and a few weeks forward in to end of November, first week of December. We couldn't go past 12/12 because the Greek church won't marry you from 12/12-1/6 I think the range is for advent/Little Christmas, etc.

So we started looking at RHs and the ones that we liked were either booked earlier in the range or still were over budget/over minimum for us, so in order to get the place we wanted most and for the right price and minimum, we had to pick our last choice date, which was 12/5...still Fall technically, but more festive.
