Oheka Castle Brides!
I've done quite a bit of searching on this forum, and, unfortunately, haven't found a lot of info on getting married at Oheka.Did you get married at Oheka, or will you be?
If so, do you have any advice on the planning process? Any recommended vendors, ceremony or reception ideas, advice on booking hotel rooms, etc.?
Welcome all Oheka brides, and congrats!

Re: Oheka Castle Brides!
Thanks for the help, Ladies =DDoes anyone have any experience booking hotel rooms for a wedding at Oheka?
I just received my group rate contract, and it says that I have only 10 days to book at the group rate when my wedding's over a year and a half away still! I haven't even had a chance to tell most of my family and friends about the wedding yet!

I don't know if you scoped out a photographer but my family, friends and I strongly recommendJ O V O N Photography. I've posted on here soooo many times raving about them. The pictures are unbelieveable.
my proofs are still online if you would like to see. They are a family business and so accommodating.
fm me for more info

Hi. Sorry I just saw this now (when i was looking for a review). I am getting married at oheka :)i got some extras but i think most of them we told them about in the beginging so he sort of gave us a price based on those things (live sushi guy rolling and raw bar are two big ones i can think of).

Are any of you having a DOC? If so, who? I have started to look around for this. :)

Re: Oheka Castle Brides!
I was told that you don't really need a DOC at the castle because once the cocktail hour starts, they pretty much take over anyway. But I'm having a DOC (i won in a raffle for free) for the pre-stuff. I'm getting married in a church but getting ready at oheka. So she'll be there from the beginning (getting ready, making sure the groom and groomsmen look ok, @ the church, and for family pics - I have a huge family, so I'm hoping she can help wrangle them in lol). But I told her that I only want her for up until the cocktail hour. HTH!Welcome New Vendors
