We are using Vinny.
Have you girls had your engagement pictures done yet? The wedding is next June - I am not sure when we should have the engagement pictures taken. When did you get yours/or when are you planning to have them done?

I'm using Steve. I had my e-pics taken and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. Out of all the shots he took, only 2 were good. In one of them he told me not to smile and I wasn't happy about that because when I don't smile I look pissed off. Sure enough, when I saw the picture I looked pissed off! So that one was ruined. Then, he told FH to kiss me on the neck in one picture and then kiss me on the forehead in another. In both pics, FH was making fish lips (like sticking his lips out funny) and Steve didn't say anything, so those pictures got ruined too. I can't remember why I didn't like the others, but they just weren't that great.
Then, whoever mailed the pictures to me (here in Virginia) mailed them to my OLD address!!!! After a month I was flipping out because I hadn't gotten my pictures yet. Steve said they were mailed though. Well, shortly after, a friend of mine who's my old roomate went back to our old townhouse (that she owns). One of her new renters took my pictures and opened them! My friend found them in his room. Weirdo!!!!
Long story short, when I FINALLY got my pictures, they were ALL color when I KNOW I had ordered some B&Ws.
I talked to Steve about this like 2 or 3 weeks ago and he said he'd check my order. After not hearing from him, I e-mailed him. Still, I have not heard back from him!!!!!
I know he's a talented photographer and he's busy too, but he's making me very, very nervous!!!
Sorry, just had to vent......

I'm using Vinny.
I took my e-pics back in March I think - Vinny did such a fantastic job. We had a really hard time deciding. He got FH to smile in the pics - I was SHOCKED - Vinny is a miracle worker!!!

Thanks girls. The day that me and FH got our e-pics taken was a Saturday and Steve doesn't normally do e-pics on Saturday, so it was nice of him to even do that for me, being an out of town bride. But Steve's wife was there waiting for him and I think that maybe he was rushing, so maybe that's why the pictures didn't come out so great. But that's still no excuse for not getting back to me on why my pics were all color and no B&W.
And also why he didn't apologize for mailing my pics to my old address when he had the new one!
Vinny is my BF's photographer and her e-pics came out great! Whoever is using him will not be disappointed.

we are using Doug and are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy with how the e-pics came out. Wish we got more!FH & I have never had professional/posed shots taken and he made jokes and had us laughing.

I think they are in the studio. I am not sure. I remember being told we can take them in the studio or outside of the studio by this little spot of grass they have but anything like a location (beach, park, etc...) would be extra
