i had my shower- funny story!!!

So I posted on the board that Saturday afternoon I was going for my dress fitting my my MOH's... Little did I know that my shower was that day!! I was SHOCKED!!!

Last week, I called my sister when I found out my dress was in. I told her that I made an appt for my dress for 1pm Well, That caused the bridal party to go in a panic since my shower was planned.

My fiance works at the restaurant where my shower was so this is how they got me there. Hes a bartender there and he works parties on Sat and Sunday so he said he had a party to work. He left about 11:30 and I got ready for my dress fitting. I showered and did my hair but barely had on any makeup. I had black workout pants on, a fleece and a halloween shirt underneath. Not a shower outfit. So as I am getting ready, my fiance calls to say he locked his keys in the car so before I go to the dress place could I stop by with the spares. I was a little peeved since I was running late already so I called my sister who lives a few blocks from me and asked her if we could make a pitstop. SO i pick her up and we get to the place. She said just run in Ill wait here. I walk in and he comes walking towards me.

Now I am standing right at the doors to the side room where the party was. The doors were open and everyone was standing there.Did I see them, NO!! I was so intent on giving him his spares so I can get to my dress that I didnt even look that way. He turns my head and everyone yelled SURPRISE!!!! I just stood there, wide mouth opened. I had NO CLUE!!! I was so shocked I ran the other way. I was crying b.c I was so happy and surprised b/c I really did not have a clue. And then my next words were, so Im not going to see my dress? My sister had called the place and told them that it was my shower and that she would not be coming is.

The bridal party did such a nice job. The colors were the colors of the wedding- red and white. I got such nice gifts.

It was such a great day and I am so happy that I had no clue b/c it made my shower even better!!

I took pics but not with a digital. But I have a digital now thanks to the bridal party..

im so tired b/c i had a baby shower today.. busy weekend!

Congrats Kristi!! I am so happy you were sooo surprised and had a great time. Sounds like they really got you good. Can't wait for pics!! Didn't it make it feel so real? We're almost there!! Congrats!!!
