BACKSTORY

I was seventeen when I sang for my first wedding ceremony. I remember peering down from the balcony with wonder at the couple kneeling at the altar.

This was not just any day.

I will never forget the realization that it was my responsibility to articulate through music the beauty and importance of what we were all witnessing.

Since that day in 1984 I have loved and cherished my role as a ceremony singer...

HERITAGE

I have been singing for as long as I can remember.
My Father, Robert Nagy, was a Tenor with the Metropolitan Opera Company for thirty years. Consequently, our family identity is wrapped up in music.
My classical vocal training began during my teens. As college years approached I shifted my focus to theatre, receiving a BFA from Adelphi University and an MFA from Penn State. My journey as a professional actor spanned fifteen years and included work in regional theatre, film, commercials, voice-overs and television.
I currently study voice privately in New York City and am a member of the Masterwork Chorus.

“Her voice filled the evening air. It was powerful and rich and at the same time so tender and soft that by her final notes every single wedding guest had tears rolling down their cheeks.”
