oh man leslie, I feel so bad about what is happening right now. There is nothing anyone can say to make it better, but somehow things will work out(probably the last thing you want to hear right now).

What does your mom say about all of this?

It seems as if Mom may have her surgery on Tuesday. My sister has been in TX with her but needs some support. The remaining 3 kids are going to try to stagger our visits so that Mom isn't alone. I will more than likely go down on weekends as my days off are limited. Until and unless it is deemed impossible for Mom to attend the wedding, I suppose we will go forth as planned. I havent spoken to Mom since yesterday morning. She is in ICU due to her other pending medical issues. She is a cardiac patient as well as a diabetic. Amazingly enough, her BP hasnt been elevated. So just like my Dad's heart sustained him for so long, Mom's heart will be ok.
