No, you aren't behind! I found my dress at the first store in less than an hour so that's the only reason why that's done!!!! It's in already!

I haven't done much recently, except send out the save the dates (FH did today although we still have a few to get addresses for).

We have a lot of December brides now!!!

How's everyone doing? My FH would say 'we are done' but, well, far from it. We just signed our contract for our limbusine. I'm hoping to get bridesmaid dresses ordered soon (they are picked out but, now's the hard part, getting the OOTers to get their sizes in).

When are you planning on ordering invitations? I've looked here and there and have ordered a few samples but, am still clueless to what I want other than inexpensive and rectangle (FH's request for the rectangle part).

Hi December Brides!!!!!

I am soooooo behind in my planning. I'm trying not to have anxiety about it.

I booked my church last week and have almost everything else left to do. I am seriously considering getting myself a coordinator to help me out.

I think I have narrowed down my colors. I am thinking about doing gold dresses with plum and red flowers. Maybe I could do a red sash on the dresses.

My reception room has a lot of cream and ivories in it and color will really stand out so I am thinking about alternating red flower and plum flower high centerpieces on the tables. I had originally planned on doing red dresses, but I want to have some element of gold in my dress and thought it would look nice to have the bridal party dresses be gold to complement my dress. What do you girls think?

Anyone have pics that might help me out with this? I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I decided on red dresses because I think the dark color will help my white dress really stand out.

I'm thinking of doing alternating color centerpieces as well.

Just over 6 months to go!

ETA: How long before the wedding are you guys planning on sending invitations? It's the next big thing on my list (I plan on waiting to do them but, was just curious).

I am thinking I will send out my invites 3 months before....I want to do them early so if I have a 'B' list, I can get them out early also. I also don't think I am doing STDs at this point, so sending the invites out early gives people time to arrange their schedules

I was thinking the same thing! I'm starting to look a little bit (I even sent FH out to see some of the prices at the printers in our town that are only open M-F from 9-5 to save me having to take a day off to do it!) We sent save the dates but, mainly to get people to reserve rooms for the hotel.
