Girlfriend's wedding at the Vizcaya Museum (Miami)

Good morning all. I wanted to share pics of my girlfriend's wedding in Miami. Her ideas were beautiful and her day was so personal and intimate because of it. Her colors were rich earth tones such as burnt orange, dark copper (almost a dark chocolate color), terracotta, burgundy, green, etc. She also added some personal ideas to tie in both cultures (her family is from Jamaica and his from Domenica).

Ceremony in the round with chuppah and scattered rose petals (aisle runner was personalized and in her color)....

Program fans which also honored those who have passed ....

Monogramed banner (3 total), which were placed in various spots during the wedding. Here you see it behind the harpist and opera singer.

Various floral arrangements placed around cocktail hour room (they all differed in height and color)

High CP's in earth tone colors with 3 cascading smaller arrangements (votives and petals scattered along base). You can also see the favor boxes with Black Cake...

Pic showing chiavari chairs with namecards attached to the back (tied with dark copper ribbon), menu cards with terracotta calla lillies and matching linens.

Wedding cake in layers of various shapes (she couldn't decide on one shape). She had the scroll design from her dress duplicated on her cake and you can see the 'WE DO' letters as well.

She gave out Jamaican and Domenican flags during the cocktail hour. She wanted to acknowledge both cultures and make an entrance to the waving of flags. It was great. Here is the bridal party waving their flags ....

She was wearing Reem Acra's 'Honeymoon' in Ivory in case anyone was curious.

I agree. Even after speaking to you aout it yesterday I was amazed.. but now seeing is definately believeing. STUNNING! And I love the flag interaction.
