Sorry I put this on the BHB boards, but I figure I would get more responses here.

I just wanted to see what everyone's responses would be.

I understand we all get involved in our own lives but it does get lonely... when you don't have any girlfriends to bond with and do girl things with.

How about the FH.. does he have a lot of friends? It always helps when FH has friends that are married or in relationships so then his friends become yours and then you can go out with other couples and do things every now and then..

real friends that i see and hang out with? honestly, none. i have one in NC...but i never really see her...i also have 2 here...but i never see them...this job doesn't help...it's a small office of 5 people, all chinese, all men (except one....and she's my mom's age).

luckilly, i have the bridentologists.

If I include my new found Bridentologists I have bunches...If I take them out I have my mom and FH and unfortunately there are some things you can't talk to your mom about because of the ewwww factor and there are some things you can't talk to your FH about because of the you can't *itch about 'em to 'em factor. :sigh: But there are always the ghosts in my house and the voices in my head to talk to.......

Hey if you can't trust the voices in your head to listen then dang who can ya trust???? Of course the voices in my head sometimes call me by the wrong name...I hear them often refer to me as Witch....wonder why that is?????

I can count on one hand my close friends too. i think the older we get, the harder it is to keep in close touch with people.

i know what you mean.....FH gets mad if he finds out i 'griped' to my MOH about him or anything, gets mad if i gripe to his mom (my mom is OOT), well, if i walked up to him and said, ' you are acting like a child for ___________' then he'd yell at me for whining to him....who am i supposed to let it out to??? geez.

yeah, cause some get married younger, older, some have kids, some don't, some move, some don't.....it just screws with the ability to stay close. that's the main reason i have no friends (aside from moving 600 miles away)

I have a very close family and I believe they are my true best friends. I have 3 sisters and my mom so I feel really lucky. I also have my FH is my absolute best friend. As far as girlfriends I have very few, 1 from growing up and 1 from college.

When I say WOOSA! I feel like I have about 50 but seriously.... As far as my best friend, obviously it's FH. I have 7 people that if I said 'I need you. NOW.' they would drop everything for me.... but as far as girls I hang out with on a REGULAR basis, zero, because we all have our families or things going on. We DO go out, but just not 'regularly'.

ugh girlfriends! Right now I have one great girlfriend! In the past I've had a lot more, But Once i went to college I grew apart from most of them....and recently I had to dump one friend who i've known since 7th grade (she WAS my MOH) but she turned out to be very fake and VERY selfish.
After the wedding I'm moving to NC...hopefully when i go back to school i will make some friends!

I have 2 best girlfriends and 1 best guy friend! That's enough for me!! the rest are either really good friends, friends, or acquaintance's!
