I originally wanted a June wedding, due to the weather and our schedules. Oheka only had Saturdays in July or May, so we originally had July 11th. It then came to my attention that my internship could start in July, which would mean rushing any last minute stuff and postponing the honeymoon. I called Oheka to see if we could switch to May, and they had June 6th available, which was totally perfect. So to sum all that up, it came down to the RH's availability, my and FH's availability, having a Saturday for guests, and the warm but not too hot weather.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, our dating anniversary is the day before and I always wanted a fall wedding.

We got engaged on 9/21/07 ... If you flip the 21 you get 12. So our wedding date is 9/12/09.

we originally wanted 8/15/09, but then FBIL set a date for their wedding for a week later, 8/22/09. we knew we couldn't get married a week before them, but with school starting in September 09 and going straight through w/out any breaks until August 2010, we knew it had to be in 2009. May was the earliest we felt we could do it without having the families attend too many weddings around the same time. and Saturday, May 23, 2009 was the only Saturday day the Vineyard could offer us in the time period.

we really wanted a fall wedding. so we thought of October. then we figured that 10/10/09 is Columbus Day Weekend and that would be great for us and for the guest. i'm so happy. i can't wait.

October is my favorite month and we wanted to do a Saturday night but couldnt afford it, so decided on the friday before columbus so people get a three day weekend

We wanted a May wedding, our anniversary is May 4, so we thought it be nice to keep it in may.

We wanted a holiday weekend so that people could make a mini-vacation out of it . . . we'll have mostly out of towners (including us!) and Columbus Day is my birthday, along with October being the month EVERYTHING happened in our family, so I thought I'd mix it up and do something in the Spring! It would've been '08 if we could've gotten our hall the same night this year . . . .

I picked September because I didn't want it to be too hot or too cold and I love fall color combos. We didn't want Labor Day Weekend and the 19th is a jewish holiday (my dad's side is jewish), the 26th is 2 days after FH's birthday and 2 days before FFIL's birthday so I didn't want that. So, the 12th it is!

Originally FH & I wanted to get married in Oct/Nov of 08 but everything was booked. So i said well lets do it in May/June of 09. FH said thats was to long & if we pushed it that far I was never going to marry him. lolhaha. So i said ok well i love winter weddings lets do a Jan/Feb 09. He agreed & then it just so happened that Fox Hollow had Valentine's Day open & well we booked it! What a grea day for a wedding! lol

I have always wanted a spring wedding.... I hate the heat plus FH's family wanted to have a party for us in Israel summer of 09. So our wedding had to be before summer 09. We were originally going with 3/29/09 because it was cheaper than April but I wanted to have tulips at the Swan Club... So I changed it to April.... Now in April I couldn't have my wedding around Passover or Easter so it was either April 18 or April 26.... so April 26 it was....

I really wanted a spring wedding so we agreed on May. I picked the 25th because I originally wanted a sunday afternoon since it's cheaper but I was able to get the holiday for a better price.

I wanted the summer because I am a teacher and it is the weekend that we met.

Originally fh and I wanted to get married on May 9, 2009...(we wanted to get married on a 9---its our number) but I found out that my cousin is making communion that day, so that was out and I felt that I would be rushed ...so being that we got engaged for Christmas, I suggested that we have a Christmas themed wedding in December. We were looking at early December, and then we saw that Januay 9th fell on a Sat...and the hall had it open and both of us really liked the idea of a winter wedding...I like the way that it sounds too... 1-9-10

we wanted to get married a year after my sister and we also wanted his family to be able to come from croatia (they own a bed and breakfast there and cant come during their busy months )

We both agreed that we wanted a Fall or Winter wedding. We aso didn't want to wait a long time to get married....a year tops. He proposed 1/11/08 and we decided to go with the weekend after Christmas. We love that time of the year and the prices were great for an Sat. evening on that weekend.

We wanted it during the nice weather but May was already taken cause my friend is getting married and I am a BM. Then we though August cause we thought there would be a price difference and then when we went to out RH he suggested Jul 5 '09 since it was within our budget so we said Hoorah 4th of July weekend and Bday celebration for me!!!!

We were deciding between January 09 and October 09.

I wanted Jan. 31 because our anniversary in 2.1, but I want a full church mass, which you can't do on Sundays, so we figured Jan. 31 rolls into 2.1.

But ultimately we decided on a fall wedding because we were worried about snow, and we also needed more time to save. The date is of no significance. A close friend of our is getting married on 10.03.09, so I wanted to space mine from hers by a few weeks, and we picked the 24th.

Now 10*24*09 is the date!!!
