I don't see the big deal with the question either! I was just warning her, it could turn into drama, since there have ben at least 3 other threads like this since I've been on here and they all got ugly. As most of us know, it doesn't take much to cause drama on this site; all you have to say is the sky is blue!!!!!

Mine is 1.5 round center stone. Two stones on either side...each are .20 or .25...I don't remember. Total weight is somewhere between 2.3-2.5. Whatever!

posts like this get ugly because there are some girls who like to judge people based on their carat size. they will drop comments about certain sizes being too small or saying things like 'if it isnt such and such size then he must not love you'

immature offensive comments like that cause drama

I have an emerald cut with 2 tapered side baguettes. The stone is 2 carats and the bagettes are 1/2 each.

If people get offended, then they should X out of the post and not answer nor continue reading.... =)

I love my ring and being that it is still a 'new edition', I know the exact specifics from the paperwork I had to give my insurance agent! LOL

I have a 1.65 round stone D color with pave 3/4 around the band, which is about another 1 carat so total is about 2.5-2.75....

I would have been happy with anything he got me....the size doesn't matter at all, the love behind it does! =)

Mine is just over 2.5 total (the engagement ring) The center stone is 1.5 and the side stones are just over a carat total. It came as a set though and the other ring is 1.39 I think total? I don't know...I've been thinking lately about not wearing the band and just always wearing the e-ring once I'm married because that's the ring I really love and I feel like together they're just too big on my finger.

I have a 2.75 princess cut ring. The center stone is 1.5 with the sides being 1.25

I dont think it's so much this as much as it's 'I chose the best color over size because everyone knows color is more important,' or 'I got a smaller stone because big stones look obnoxious'...opinions like that get girls in trouble!


Bottom line, as long as you love your ring and it hasn't put your FH in the poor house, who cares how big it is, right?

My center stone is 2... I think each of the side stones which are hearts are .25-.5 each. so the total is around 3 total

1.5 center D color total 2.5cts. im the opposite. i have super long ET fingers so my 1.5 doesnt look that big.. at leas ti dont think it does i duno. but its blinding lolol and flawless just like ME ..jk jkjk

The center stone is a .5 and I think the total weight of the ring is around 1.00. It is the perfect size for me because I have midget hands and anything bigger would have looked funny.

I opened this thread fully expecting some MAJOR but it seems like we are all behaving ourselves....YAAAAAY!

Mine is an emerald cut, 1.5 carat center stone, with 2 half carat sized trapezoid cut diamonds as side stones set in platinum.
