Hey... Here is Eastcoast next showcase... They are playing at a bar!!! It will be a fun night out in the city!!

Friday, January 20th
O’Flanagan’s 10:30 pm – 3:00am • 1st Ave btwn 65th and 66th St, NYC • 212-439-0660 • We are looking forward to a fun gig and a few laughs. This club has a lot of character (and characters) and is as diverse as we are. Showcase set begins at 10:30pm. Dress: casual. The food’s good. Expect to dance!! DJ- Tommy Tune's was excellent at a wedding I went to.

We were really happy with the jazz trio we got through Stan Weist (one of the Long Island Weddings vendors). Fm me if you have questions.

For the most part, bands are a little more expensive than DJ's. It just depends on your style. We booked with After Hours Entertainment (vendor on here) & they offer band, dj, or Band/Dj combo. You should check them out! Ask for Phil. He's the owner. Good Luck

I went to the bridal expo last night, and they had a band/dj group call 'The Best of Both World' The were great.

They had an amazing band at Villa's showcase called Timepiece! They were great!! Made me want a band!

Check out some people and prices and see what works for you and your FH. Let me tell you, you will know as soon as you meet the person whether you want them or not. I checked out a few DJ's, and as soon as I met with Vinny from High Voltage, I knew he was the guy I wanted for my wedding! I have never seen him in action, but I know for a fact I made the right decision! He is a great guy and I have no doubt in our decision. Good Luck. Check out as many people as you can, and once you find the right one, book it. Don't hesitate or think twice.

WE are going to start looking at bands first...see if we like any and if they fall in our budget - if not, we will turn to DJs.

Any other band suggestions?

Entertainment tonite- Grand Ave in Bellmore- Been to 3 weddings of theirs and they are doing mine- Emcee Guy is the best- Reasonable prices- Hi tech stuff- www.wewantet.com

The combo Dj's and bands you have to watch out for- I went to one and they said that if people are dancing more to the dj the band will sit back and let the dj do it all- thats a waste of $$. ur paying for both and just using one
