My FFIL told Fh NOT to put it in any food b/c he had a friend who did this and she almost swallowed it-though it did make for a good proposal b/c he had set it up so the waiter was standing there with a camera-so when she felt it she started screaming in the restaurant at the waiter before she even pulled it out of her mouth!!!

And YES he got it on camera!!!

Shes screaming and yelling and then she stops and starts 'oh my god, oh my god' over and over again-its hilarious

Ha ha... that's what everyone said. Luckily, it was on the crust, so I saw it before I could dive in. I didn't really eat any of it anyway because I just started hysterically crying! The pic I submitted is of me and my fiance that the waiter took after I composed myself... my mascara came completely OFF! The waiters and new owner of the restaurant (La Pace in Glen Cove) were so sweet, the brought out free champagne and didn't charge us for the dessert.
It was fabulous and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm still on cloud 9!!!!!!!
