They are all so pretty. How many of you gave your FH some direction as to what you wanted? My directions were really simple....Don't get a ring that is below an F on the color scale, please please please don't get one that has under a VS-2 and defintely nothing under a Good for cut. I cherish quality so much in diamonds and am SO happy that he listened! Noone can ever hold anything against a perfect diamond, or perfect stones surrounding it either : )

I not only gave my FH direction, I went to every store, tried everything on, picked out my diamond and my setting, and stood there while he made a down payment. And yes, I was still surprised when I got it!

I gave fh some hints (he did a great job) but ultimately what mattered more was the fact that the man I love gave it to me regardless of its size or quality..what the ring symbolizes is more important in my opinion!

that right there is why i won't be posting a picture of my ring.
my fiance may not have any idea what a VS-2 diamond is... he may not be able to afford a 4 carat diamond...
but he loves me. and he bought me a ring in order to show the world he loves me.
that means more to me than any cut color or clarity of any stone that was dug out of the earth.
i would have been happy with a $9.50 ring from Walmart.
*there is nothing wrong with a 4 carat vs-2 platinum ring. all the rings posted in this thread are GORGEOUS. i just hope that most of you realize it's just a rock. it's the promise behind the rock that matters.

Heres mine... I gave Fh a pic of what I liked he actually wanted me involved through the whole thing. I even went as far to give directions to the store. BTW I absolutely love this jeweler. So no surprise here. But I love my ringedited for add

Just the thought that my FH took the time out to save his money , listen to my ideas, shop around means the world to me and everytime I look at my ring or rock as you say it reminds me of his promise.

Everyone has gorgeous rings!!!! I'm a wee bit jealous! I don't even have a ring......yet.we bought a silver band that I wear on my ring finger. As most of you know, it was the downpayment on our place or the ring...I chose buying a home with him and living together..and now im (not so) patiently waiting for it!
I'll definitely post a pic of it as soon as I get it! FH has already said if after he gives it to me I take a pic of it and go running to the computer he's going to kill me! hahahhhaha
