The park we took pics at is in Valley Stream, right off the Belt Parkway. It's on the way to Russo's from Brooklyn I think.

Carol told me the Forrest Hills train station, which is about 20 minutes away..I pulled up a website of it and its very pretty,,its different..but they have lots of old homes and some cobble stone streets. It also depends on what flippin church I book too

I have also been told Charles Park and there is a 'beach' nearby. I'm gonna find the link for that slide show for you ladies

Hey ladies!

My Church is in Astoria and we have a lot of time before the CH, so we are taking pics in Central Park. If anyone's Church is in that area, I def recommend it.

Otherwise, have any of you considered Forest Park? I really don't know anything about it except that it is big (much bigger than Charles Park), and I pass it all the time on the way from FH's house in Howard Beach on the way home to Astoria, so it is definitely close to Russo's. HTH!

We're going to Russo's this coming Sunday to give in another payment and to add the hospitality hour to the contract. i also wanna ask them when i should come in for the cake tasting - i know its not for awhile but i wanna make sure i know exactly when to go because i definitely don't wanna miss out on free cakes lol

Its an hour before the cocktail hour. Its great if you have a bit of a break between church and reception. Anyhoo, there are pastries and cookies...and some chamapgne, coffees and teas.. Just gives the guests a little something to do and eat if there is a wait.

We have it in our contract

Gosh....I really don't remember...I'll pull out my contract later and find out. When I booked I think it was 400 or 450. But not sure...Santina I think is adding hers soon so she'll have a more up to date price...Santina bella?

Nina bella I feel like I haven't talked to u in ages so i went to russo's last week to make a payment and add the hospitality hour but there were no BM available so suzanne at the desk took my # and told me that carol would call me with all the info for the hospitality hour but she never did i have to go back june 3rd to make another payment so i'll just wait til then to talk to someone about it. i just hope it nots too much $$$
