Hey chicas!!! 8 more days to go...I just handed in my seating plans to Ann yesterday and am dropping everything off at Russo's next Friday. I'm still in shock that it's coming so soon. It feels very surreal. I hope you girls don't think I've forgotten about you. It's been a little crazy lately since I'm doing so much last minute and family from Greece already started arriving. I'm sure I'll pop on a few more times and to say goodbye to being a Miss I promise I'll post my review probably within a few days of coming back from Hawaii. I've already started it Love my Russo's girls!!!

quick question: does anyone happen to know what flavors Russo's offers for cakes? FH and me are thinking of doing a hazelnut/coffee cream filling but I have no idea if Russo's offers those flavors.

Hi ladies,

Just dropping in to let you that at this point I have pretty much been to almost every catering hall on LI, Queens and NYC, and I must tell you that NOTHING compares to Russos....the food and the service are just impeccable...we couldnt have our reception at Russos bc we're having a very small wedding and their minimum is rather high.

So be very happy that you went with Russos, and trust me you will not be disappointed!

Santina....I remember when asking Ann, she said the Tivoli could hold 260, 270 max. So maybe the guaranteed would be between 275-300? Just my guess

Thanks for clearing that up Nina - if the Tivoli could hold a max of 270 then I'm ok. Baiscally in the past few days my mom has gone crazy with the guestlist and as of now we have about 285 on the list. Hopefully 30 or so will say no so we won't be too tight in the room.

One more question maybe u could help me with: do the vendors get counted in the guestlist? I really hope they don't otherwise I think I might have to get the bigger room if its available

Santina - to answer your question - yes the vendors do count in the final headcount .... and so do you lol .. i made the mistake of not adding myself and Angelo for the e-party ! and i think the max in the rennaissance room is 300.

hey guys,
I was told that the min. for a Sat. night is 275 but can accomodate up to about 450.

Does anyone know the policy about paying for vendors' dinner.? My band comes with 11 people. And also do the vendors count towards the minimum amount of people.

Ok girls so I just called Russo's and spoke to Toniann and she told me that the vendors are not included in the final count because they don't sit in the room. However, if u meet your minimum their meals are half off but they aren't counted as people in your room. i was nervous because the Tivoli has a max capacity of 260 and we're inviting about 280 (hoping that we'll get atleast 20 no's) and if i had to include my vendors (total of 14 people) in the final headcount i would be in trouble.

Well...I did it!!! I'm married!!!!

Russo's was freaking amazing!!!!!! I'll post my review and pics when we come back...but I needed to let you girls know that everything was perfect. Tracie, our Maitre'd, was a sweeheart and an absolute blessing!!! Everyone had an awesome time and kept telling us how great the food and service was. They also couldn't stop talking about the viennesse hour!! The ffood was great, they truly made us feel special, the cake was beautiful and was delicious!! We came up from the elevator and everyone loved it...it shocked a lot of people since our families really haven't had many functions there. I could go on and on but we gotta save something for the review huh?

Nina i didn't get to see your post til today...so sorry for the delay bella I talked to Audrey this weekend when we went to give in our payment and she told me if i max out at 260 i need to go from round tables to oval tables (they fit 14 instead of 12). She showed me the layout and it's not terrible but i really prefer the round tables so hopefully we won't have more than say 245 after all the RSVP's come back so I can have the round. If not, then oh well oval it is - there's nothing I can do about it u know what i mean? I got a sheet with all the cake flavors they offer - if any of u girls are interested lemme know and I'll post it
