Yay Marcela!

We are sort of in the same boat with the invitations. My dad dropped them off & was told they would be hand canceled by this afternoon - so I'm hoping they are out!!!! I'm a little nervous!

I was nervous also. I'm just hoping for the best. I was actually pissed off b/c the woman who I was dealing with was right about to let me hand cancel them. But then one of her co workers told her she wasn't allowed to give me the stamp. The co worker told me that they're not allowed to let anyone have the stamps and that I'm just going to have to trust them I was ready to tell her that I do not trust them, but didn't want to piss her off since my box of invites was already on their side of the glass

that is awesome!! At least they really did hand cancel them.

I can't wait to finally send them out but I don't think they are going out until next week

Yay!!! People got our invitations! My FFIL said to me last night when we gave him one 'I guess you guys are really going through with this, huh?' It's starting to feel more real now as we get closer. I have my shower in 2 weeks (I know about it) and I'm excited!

How are you guys doing? Jen, when are you coming to NY for your shower? Marcela, your shower looked like so much fun! You are lucky that you got most of your stuff from your registry. I have a feeling we won't get that much off it, but that is ok.

We got our engagement pictures back! I haven't seen the contact sheet yet but Rob picked them up a couple of hours ago. I will post them tomorrow!
We got our envelopes back from Artistic Addressing, I love them! Hopefully we will have the invites out by Tuesday because I am coming to New York tomorrow
Saturday is my dress fitting and centerpiece sample and Sunday is my hair trial with Densie Venti!! I can't wait!!

I am so jealous, you guys are getting so much done

YAY girls!! See Jess, you were nervous for nothing Jen, how exciting! You have a big weekend ahead of you. Have fun and good luck. Hope you have a nice flight to NY. I can't wait to see your epics.

I got my first RSVP yesterday. It was from one of my Bms.

ETA: Jess I really didn't think we'd get everything off our registry either. You never know. A lot of people do last minute shopping anyway.

Hey Girls! I had a very busy weekend!
I got to see my sample centerpiece and it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined!! I took pictures on my digital camara and it wasn't until I left that I realized my battery was so low and they didn't come out.
Oh well. Then I left to go to my first fitting. My dress fits like a dream! They only need to take up a little on the bottom and I am having an inverted bustle. I ended up buying new shoes too.
I decided that I HATED my veil (the color and style) so with 8 weeks to go, I got a new one
Sunday I had my hair trial with Denise Venti. I love it. I am doing a half up/half down with the veil in the back of my head.
All of my dress and hair pics are on my sister's camera so she needs to send them to me.

Yay Jenn! Are you posting pics of your fitting? That's so nice about everything! Sounds like you got alot done!!

It's good that you bought a new veil, I guess you can't really tell how they will go together until you try it on with the dress. It is a long veil or fingertip?

Yeah Marcela, I have a feeling that we will get very little off the registry . I'm hoping people are waiting until the last minute to buy stuff ( I know that sounds really bad!)
