Congrats girls!!! Your HMs sound awesome!!

As far as planning, we're still waiting on our invite proof to come in and my mom has ordered the bridal shower invites I have no idea when it is though.

Next we have to make an appointment with our florist to pick out flowers and Fh is going to Mardi Gras in Feb and once he comes back or right before he goes, we'll do the tuxes.

I had my invitation design meeting on Wednesday and it went so well! I can't wait to see them. we are having the ribbon tied on with our little pewter charm (keeping with our wine theme).

Congrats Jen! I love the charm. But I don't understand...Are you tying them to the invites or to your favors?

Girls, I went to see my veils yesterday. I called and asked if they were in and they were Apparently they've BEEN there but no one ever called me Anyway, I went to make sure if they were ordered correctly and they were (thank god). The only thing is that the2 veils (1 is a 2 tiered fingertip veil and the 2nd is a cathedral) came all together on one comb and I wanted them on 2 combs, so i can just take the cathedral off at the reception. But the manager said it was no problem to do that and they would do it for me.

If you girls are doing programs...When are you starting to make them?

ETA: I forgot to tell you girls...Our invite proofs came in and they were perfect. So we placed the 'official' order. We should get our invites in the next week or two This is so exciting And my bridal shower invites are going out soon also. I don't know when my shower is, but I know my Mom ordered and received the invites

That's great about your invites Marcela! I'm also glad it worked out ok with your veils!

I picked ours up last week, and we've been getting our list together for the calligrapher (which by the way is a HUGE pain!) But I think we're pretty much done, just need to finalize a couple of addresses. We've decided not to bother with programs.

My dress is supposed to come in soon, so I really hope so! My veil has been in for awhile now, but I'll pick that up when I go for my first fitting. Other than that, we're meeting with the Rabbi tomorrow morning, and going for our engagement picture next week. I'm also hoping to get Dave to look at tuxes soon

Congrats on the invites!! YAY How exciting! I have to get the list together for the calligrapher also I guess I should start doing that also.

Good Luck with the Rabbi tomorrow and the epics. I can't wait to see them. I think we're going in the beginning of March for the tuxes. FH wants to go after he and his BP come back from New Orleans.

Hi ladies!

Our meeting with the Rabbi was ok, he's a little stricter with traditions than I expected but we're excited! It feels more real now! I'm calling the dress store today to try & find out what is going on. It gets so frustrating because it seems like everyone else's dresses have come in, and I ordered mine last March! Other than that, next week I going to try on a dress which I may wear after the wedding, and we're going for our e-pic. The only problem is getting Dave & I to wear matching shirts! Not gonna happen! So, we'll just try to coordinate I guess. How are you all doing? I think we may wait on tuxes too Marcela. It just may be too early to go now for that.

I just found out that our couples shower is March 20th here in STL and my all-girls shower in NY is April 3rd. My mother told me that my parents are even going to pay for my plane ticket to come

It would have been nice to have surprise showers but it was just impossible with having to travel

My dad and brother also told FH that they want to fly in for his bachelor party. One of his best men called me this weekend to tell me that he is drafting an 11 page contract for me to sign before the party

Rob finally booked the limos, we went with All Star. AND I just made my first dress fitting appointment- Saturday March 13th at 2pm.
Wow! This is so exciting. I can't wait to put it on. It really feels like it is all coming together.

We picked out the tuxes this weekend & went for our engagement picture, so I hope to have that by next month I think. I'll definately post it once I get it.

Hi Girls!

How are you all doing? I'm STRESSING OUT. Tomorrow is going to be so freakin crazy! We are applying for passports in the morning, I'm dropping my stuff off to the calligrapher after that & purchasing yalmukes & mint boxes to give out, and then going to my first dress fitting. AHHH! Then I have my hair & makeup trail (FINALLY!) next week. Marcela, your bridesmaid dresses are so pretty!

Thanks Jess I'm stressing out too This weekend I have go check out the BM dresses to make sure the dresses are okay and pick up the swatch I need to show my florist. Then I would like to start looking for a 2nd pair of shoes. I want something lower for the reception. I'm going to drop off my envelopes with the calligrapher next weekend since I don't have all the addresses yet

100 days, aaahhhhh!!!

Hi ladies! The fitting went really well, thanks for asking Marcela! Only thing is that the bodice is kinda tight but apparently it is supposed to be that way. I told my mom that I think I'll have to lay down on the couch in the bridal room, put a sheet over myself & eat using a straw at the wedding The fitter said that I did not need to lose anymore weight & that's how it is supposed to fit, but boy, it is tight! But the rest of the dress (bottom part) is huge (it's a ballgown)!!! If you want, I'll FM you pics once I get them developed & I'll try to scan them. Have you guys gone for your fittings yet?

I'm having my hair & makeup trial on Saturday. How are you guys doing with stuff? It's coming down to the wire now!
