Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

I am using the Marriot Islandia which offers rooms for $99/night and you only need to have 10 rooms. I am also offering for guest the Sheraton for $119 a night. Do NOT use the Hyatt, they want to charge like $168 a night, absurd!!!

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

You should look at the florist that Flowerfield's owns, they do a wonderful job and plus they know the ins-and-outs of flowerfields.

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

That's how I was after I booked flowerfields, I told Carolyn (at Flowerfields) that I could live there with the swans, I absolutely LOVE flowerfields, and they are so accommodating...YOu know, they are pricey but you totally get more than any other place gives you. They are just wonderful, & I have also just heard wonderful things about them.

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

I can't believe this is the first time i saw this thread!

Another FF bride here

Suebart, I can't wait to see your pictures..i'm so excited

I was just at FF a few weeks ago I had to ask them a question and the swans looked so beautiful when we first drove up next to the lake. It's such a beautiful place I love everything about it

PS......I went to the open house this past March they did a great job. The CT room looked great w/ the food and Audreys was amazing!! The reception rm had all florists and photographers inside..it was really nice.

Def check out Lovin's Ovens Florist if you girls didn't book yet. It was too far from my house to keep going there and checking them out, but they do great work

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

I am using the Hyatt.. I have some out of town guests that need to really stay for the week and I wanted it to be a really nice place.. I know it's pricey but they have golf and a pool so my guests can have fun... my brother lives in Seattle......

I booked Burtons and got a good price for flowers... I didn't look into anyone else...

I still need photographer and video... I was going to price thier vendors but now seems like maybe I won't.. you guys think they were expensive right?

anyone get married at St.Phillips??? or st. pat's... I am still having trouble getting a mass at 10:30.......

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

What they do to all of the brides/grooms who have booked with them is mail you an invitation: I was told either in Jan. or Feb. to come to the open house...

Sounds awesome, what did you end up choosing? Carolyn said the menu may change a little, such as the fish and whatnot.

Re: NEW official Flowerfields thread

the stuffed chicken was NOT good- I had it at the tasting- so we picked the regular baked chicken- I don't think many people will order it

the lobster and crab crape is GREAT- I never would have picked it if I didn't try it at the tasting- I am ordering that myself
