Seems like we have a lot of Sept/Oct Flowerfield Weddings. I am 10/20/06!! Anyone doing a 'Cocktail Reception'. My FI and I decided that we didn't want the wedding structured. We think that the best part of the wedding is the Cocktail Hour anyway, so we chose that type of Reception. We didn't choose it this way to save money - just liked the idea. Anyway, it's only $10 less pp!! So, what we are doing is having the whole reception in the Cocktail Hour Room. We are not even using the Reception Room at all. It has never been done before - so I'm a little nervous.

We just got married at Flowerfield two weeks ago and it was AMAZING!!!! The service was outstanding and the food was incredible. I can't tell you how many people told us that it was the best wedding that they ever went to. From the second that we got there until we left that night everything was perfect.

I knew it was going to be great, but I was really floored by the service. The bridal attendant was fantastic and I can't even list all of the ways that she helped us out.

Everything was truly wonderful and anyone getting married there should not worry about a thing. Feel free to FM if you have any questions!

So I just made an appointment with Lovin Oven florals for this week. Did any of you decide to go with them? How would you compare them with Burtons?

I just wanted to let all you girls know that one of the best weddings I ever went to was at Flowerfield. Everything was top notch!! The bride gets all teary eyed everytime she talks about still over 1 year later!! You all have nothing to worry about!!

just FF in general- I went to a wedding this weekend the cost way more then mine will- but mine looks like it cost more b/c so much is included!

I'm not getting married there, but I just wanted to tell you guys that we looked at that place before we were even engaged (

) and fell in love before we even got inside! It was out of our budget though. So I just wanted to tell you guys that I hope you love it b/c its beautiful there!!!!!

The food at Flowerfield is one of its best selling points. The caterer is Lovin Oven and they are sooooo good. I went to a wedding at Tribeca Rooftop last summer and can honestly say it was the best food I have ever had at a wedding. When I found out FF uses the same caterer it made the decision to choose them that much easier. Tell your mom not to worry even one bit, the food is phenominal! Wait until the tasting, she we be SO happy you chose FF!

I finally booked St. Pat's!!!! I called for Pre-Cana today

anyone do that on Sundays at St. Pat's?
