i feel like there is so much to do. we're going over the menu with our rh on wed and meeting with the florist on friday.

im just patiently waiting for the rsvps to come in. oct is going to be crazy with endless crafts!

That's what I've been doing too, DIYs. It's been a productive weekend so far..... finished printing and trimming all of our menus and favor tags. I printed both sides of the tags (what a pain to set it up!!) to have one side with 'Thank You' and the other side with our 'in lieu of favors' donation info. FH and I are going to make the chocolate Thank You's and tie them with ribbon and these tags. (Pardon the blurry camera phone pics)

i have not really done much this past week- i did make all my final appoinments with my vendors but the hall- my FH wants to come but the only do them on wed and thurs and he would need to take the day off- so we are waiting till we can get our wedding license so we can do it all the same day. some things are such a pia!!! but it will be here before we know it - today i am 9 weeks away!!!

I hear you about the final appointments.... I still have to make mine!!!! It's hard b/c October's going to be nuts, FH is away a lot on business, and we have to figure out details together first, before we make the final appts.

So far, we have plans to go get our license on Sept 30, b/c I have off from work, and he'll go into work later. It's all becoming so real now!!

Why would you feel left out?

You are new to the site, no is stopping you from jumpin in and posting.

If you want to know more about what the brides on this thread are doing or going through... read the older post on the thread. Tell us what you are doing. Just because your name isnt on a thread that was started a YEAR before you even joined the site, dont feel bad or left out. That is silly!

Ok here is my odds and ends up dates from this past weekend-

1. 131 out of 158 favors are wrapped
2. MOB, Jr. Bm and Flw Girl all had fittings this weekend (second / Final fitting scheduled)
3. My Shoes are done from being dyed picking up later
4. Reader gifts purchased this weekend
5. Parent gifts purchased this weekend
6. My ring is currently being re-dipped
7. Day of time line worked out
8. RD invites are ready to be sent out

here's our update
picked out the rd menu and fmil put down the deposit so RD is all set.
made the menus for the rd! now i just need to take care of the cps.

we're finalizing the menu with the chef this wed and seeing the sample cps on friday.

we have to go back to the tux place and reconfirm the colors of the vests and ties (just to make sure).

rsvps are coming in...31 yes and only 2 no's so far...i am hoping for a bunch more to reply no sp w ecan have a slightly smaller crowd.

our min 125. we invited a tiny bit over 200....and the majority of that is family. we're not even inviting that many friends!!! i would be happy if we were at 125 or even a few people under but we'll see. i think a bunch of people wont be able to make it because of work/it being the holiday...im just waiting for those no's to come back! and its not that we dont like anyone...i just would prefer to have less people so we could have more time with each person and more time with our friends.

Thanks!!

Now I'm questioning the tags though. I wrote 'Thank You' on the front, and our 'in lieu of..... donations' text on the back. I didn't write our names, wedding date, or anything.... so now I'm thinking of reprinting them to have our monogram & names on the front (similar style as the top of the menu) and to keep the wording as is on the back. I don't want to be redundant, as the chocolates we're making are from 'Thank You' candy molds. And I feel like I'm leaving FH's name out of the tags, since the back mentions my name b/c the organizations we're giving back to helped my family through my illness years ago. Maybe I'm just overthinking this??? I have a feeling I'm going to reprint them this weekend though.

I also scheduled our final DJ appt for Oct.

And....... my shower was on Sunday!!! Saw family and friends I haven't seen in a long time, had a great time!!

I'm in the middle of writing TY notes, so.... going to go finish that now!

Dont over think it. People know who's wedding they are at. I would just keep it as is. It is only another thing to stres over!
