Thanks for the replies about engraving at Things Remembered. I'm probably going to do that this weekend.

Last night we went to the East Wind and went over the Menu and also the cake.
I have never been more excited to get homework to do, like seating charts and my list of items we are bringing!!
We made the next 2 appointments, for paying the balance of what we owe and our final count. Then a second appointment to drop off favors and everything we need for our reception (toasting glasses, favors, cake cutting set)

I had my food tasting at Giorgio's last night! SOOOO YUMMY!!!!! They said they will call us back next week to start going over all the final details.

Make ceremony programs
Pick up wedding rings
Chose & Purchase Parents Gifts
Order/make white sweat suit for the day of for me
Purchase undergarments
Pick out and purchase wedding jewelry
Purchase 'something' for after ceremony
Order Place cards
Write out place cards
Purchase place card holders
Purchase cake topper
Establish seating arrangements
Select and order wedding cake (10/02)
Do not play/must play lists for DJ/Band (almost done)
Finalize menus, song selections, timelines, and all details with all vendors
Attend gown fittings (09/27)
Break in wedding day shoes
Call guests who have not RSVP'd
Obtain Marriage License
Finishing Shop & pack for Honeymoon
Attend bachelorette party
Confirm all final payments, schedule, pick up times, head count, etc with all vendors
Confirm HM reservations and travel arrangements
Create a “wedding box” to gather your ceremony accessories (marriage license, candles, ring pillow, basket, guest book) and assign someone to transport.
Prepare a “reception box” for accessories such as guest books, cameras, toasting goblets, cake toppers, etc., and assign someone to transport
Prepare day-of emergency kit
Place tips for each vendor in envelopes
Arrange transportation to the airport
Arrange transportation back from airport after Honeymoon

had my first fitting yesterday! that went very good- went by florist and changed a couple of things with my flower-- looking around this site give us way to many ideas sometimes and i got 3 rsvp back yesterday after non back for 6 days!!! that made me the happy and they were all yes so i am getting closer to our magic number of 100!!!
i do have to call the dj and see if i can change our meeting to a thurday instead of a tuesday. but other than that i think the weekend was a good one- hope you all had a great weekend!!!

this week we have second meetings with our music band and videographer, and also taking our first dance lesson. So, I finally gathered the baby/growing up photos and went over the order with FH. We also discussed music selections for the various parts of the video...it was less painful than I expected!

And we chose our first and second dance songs (we want one song to dance to by ourselves, and one for family and bridal party to dance to with us).

We also booked our rehearsal dinner place (at Plaka Tavern in Jackson Heights, Queens) and a flower girl brunch (at Toscas in the Bronx)...all 3 flower girls live out of state and won't be able to attend the rehearsal, so we're having a brunch for them the day before the wedding to give them their gifts and review anything they need to know.

Finally, we attended a sweet 16 today at Water's Edge in Queens...great food! And the DJ (Greekwave.com) played awesome music that had young and old dancing, so we had a good time.

Hi Girls!! I've been ***** i know!! We are sooo soon!! I'm so close to that one month mark..yay date twins!!

Sooo much going on, as you all know! Gettings so real and stressful lol

I had mu shower sept 13th it was perfect! It was at The Carltun, i was surprised..and it was all i could have dreamed of. My mom planned everything to the smalled details and my bridesmaids were sooo sooo soo gererous...the gifts never stopped...annnnnd they told me that for my bachelorette party..we;re going to Miami!!! Thats next weekend and im soo excited! 16 girls!!

I'm definitely a lil overwhelmed planning anyone else all of a sudden feeling that way? Our rsvp deadline is in 2 days adn we're still missing 80 people...and we have a meeting every other day...i feel like we dont get any alone time!

I'm soo stressed about programs and menus...i cant pick soemthing and focus on it!
