Since I got engaged I tell people that a newdly engaged woman should not be allowed to operate a car for about 2 weeks in fear that she might be distracted by the rock on her finger!

Yeah, I was the same way ... well I still am. My favorite expression: 'Don't knock the rock!' He keeps playing with the ring when it's on my finger. It's my 'precious' now!

Awwwwhhh, that was so sweet and I got all excited reading your story...and a little hungry too, ha ha....You guys look like an awesome couple.....and than Ring...all I can say is WHOA! very nice job he did, very pretty classy ring. Your Precious! that is too funny, oh and wait till you go in elevators, the lighting just bounces of diamonds! I hope the camera men in elevators don't think I'm psycho cause I always stare at my ring and move my hand around in elevators... ha ha....

Congratulations!!!
If you are using a digital camera to take pics of the ring you need to make sure it is set on 'macro' setting. Macro setting will let you get a really good close up shot in focus.

PS: I think I saw you and your FH at the Royal Hideaway in June '04 (I was on my HM). My DH and I actually talked to your FH in the gym one day while we were there. Please tell me it was you cause you both look so familiar!!!
