I've been staring at it all day. I even annoyed a few friends by angling it to sparkle in their eyes at the conference I attended today.


You are not alone. I've been engaged since May and I still angle it in meetings...try to see where I can bounce light. The best is right after I clean it..... SO SHINY! :)

Thanks everyone!!! I love my ring.

The setting is by D. Vatche. He designed the Tiffany Lucida setting. FI really wanted 6 prongs just in case one or even 2 get loose, I will not lose the stone. If I had gotten a square stone, I would have been okay with a four prong setting though.

I totally added a pic of our hands (with the ring). I have the manhattan skyline in the background too. I posted a pic of it.

I have 6 prongs also. FI knows that I am rough with jewelry and it gives us both peace of mind that the stone is really secure. He also had the stone set a tad bit lower so it's really set in there good.
