Jim was VERY pick about the vest in his tux.
He HAD to have a full back vest not a bib. And he wanted a morning tux.

The only place we found this was the Tuxedo Palace. We went a few other places, but all of them had bibs.

We finally gave up and went back to Tux Palace this past weekend. I heard 50/50 reviews from them so I drilled those poor folks. I am also VERY aware my father and twin brothers will have only one day to ‘try on’ the tux before the wedding, so I’m going to be a hound on them to make sure it’s prefect and I’m going to check every button and cufflink before we leave with the tuxes to make sure EVERYTHING is there and everything matches/fits.

I’m taking no chances.

The most common complaint I’ve heard so far with tuxes is wrong size, wrong color, missing parts. I intend to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Oh and the service to the Palace has been great seeing as they sit next door to Bridal Reflections I was shocked to find folks who greeted us, smiled at us and treated us with respect!

My cousin just got married and they got their tuxes from Men's Warehouse. They said they were great and the tuxes looked wonderful, so I'll probably go there.

I am going with the guys tomorrow to RSVP in Commack. I know someone who used them and didn't have any problems. I will let you know how they are.

that's so exciting. i need to get a move on on the invites...i'm done with the inner envelopes, and now it is on to the outer. then we have to stuff them...i am hoping to have it all done in the next two weeks.

Well, my invites went out yesterday (woo hoo!) and these are the Lillian Vernon Totes I was talking about -- they came in yesterday too, they are so cute! Part of my gift to two of the girls...Lillian Vernon Personalized Totes

FH and our GMs are getting their tuxes from Sal's Fashions in Massapequa.

did all invite envelopes yesterday, stuffed them all today, except the ones for FMIL guests, still waiting on my cards from Hampton Inn..also printed out directions to the church on vellum with the sparkles in it, looks very nice....

Started my crypacks, need to finish them....

Need to complete our registries...mailing out invites on 8/9

Still need to get BM gifts...just planning on a necklace, probably sterling silver, just need to find the right one...and need to get my FG her gift, I know what it is tho, just need to find the one I like....

We got the Guys nice sporty watches from Eddie Bauer....

My shower is the 28th...

Hi girls!!!

This weekend I finalized the addresses for the envelopes. This week I plan on having a 'stuffing' party! Spoke to my uncle (he works for the post office) about stamps

Also bought a kitchen table for our apartment.

We got a bunch of stuff done this weekend - but there is still so much to do! The next few weeks are gonna be super busy + my future in laws (almost all of them!) are coming to visit next weekend ( I have a feeling my shower is that weekend).

We went to men's Warehouse and they have full vests and a good selection. FH was a little overwhelmed by all the choices.

Well my invites are now stuffed and going into the mail today unless I managed to find the wax gun. What a pain in the A$$ these invites were. All I kept telling FH as we were stuffing them was WE ARE NEVER doing this again!!!!

i am pretty sure that i will feel the same way. i am not looking forward to stuffing them at all.

My COOL red watercolored floral paper outer envelopes have proved to be a pain the Arse!
Every time we go to the post office the ladies say “ooh how pretty..” that’s great then we ask for hand canceling and wouldn’t ya know?? Those stamps are RED!!!!! They do NOT appear on my envelopes. I hope folks get their invites.

I'm starting the stuffing this week. I'm still waiting for my maps, but I bought stamps to day & will stamp tomororw. I still have to address & stamp my shower thanks yous, so I guess I should do that today!
