Got my veil and headpiece, and the bridesmaid dresses came in. Still waiting for my dress. MOB and MOG dresses came in already. Still need favors, bridesmaid gifts, tuxes, and Groomsman gifts.

3 more months til my wedding!!! i can't believe it...there are so many little things to do. i think that we are doing well with them, but it feels overwhelming at times.

the veil is a fingertip veil, pretty standard, and I cant' find any pics online of the headpiece :-/

Ok so this weekend

-We got Jim's Tux done
-Bought our guestbook & penholder
-Bought 'thank you' labels and flowers to put on the favors
-Bought labels for the invites
-FINALLY finished putting all the invites together
-Mailed out my dad's set with labels.
-SHOE SHOPPED (unsucessfully)

Still need

Shoes
Slip
Placecards figured out (we have some ideas)
Buy tassels
Buy Chinese paper lanterns
BM Jewelry

No pics...it was way big on me and you wouldn't be able to see how the dress really looked. It was a nightmare trying to get the slip I had ordered. I ordered one and they gave me another one to just 'try on' with the dress and it was LONGER than my dress. I was livid. I was tripping over it. Finally, I found the actual slip they measured me in so I was a little happier than I was

but still annoyed

Anyway, I have to schedule a fitting with the bridal consultant I dealt with the first time (a better lady

) so that's my next adventure. I have to find a good strapless bra that will hold me up.

Any suggestions.....

I ordered our invites yesterday, I have my first fitting on 8/12, I am working on the veil, we started working on our music selections, and I hope we are going to look at tuxes and meet the priest (again) this weekend.

Am I the only one that feels like I'm missing something?

those invitations are beutiful, they are very unique. part of me wanted to do a fall themed wedding, but we decided not to.

today i...met with my florist...she is doing a sample for us in three weeks, and ordering some roses for me to choose from for my bridesmaids...

i went to the rectory and just need to call to make an appointment to meet with the priest.

i also need to call the person for the music so i can start that too.

so much to do...

i'm halfway done with my inner envelopes then i need to start on the outer ones..

my fi needs toprint out the direction cards and the rest of the favor tags...

*sigh* i just want it to be here.

So far i got them their necklace, earrings...
I plan to get them hand/body lotions, bubble bath and slippers...and finally a bottle of wine

that sounds perfect....

i got my moh the figure eight necklace from tiffany's (not to wear that day), and both girls are getting a pashmina, and silver earrings in the shape of a knot.

i'm so excited because i just peeked at my registry and my bedding is bought. i am so excited. more and more things are coming off...i think my shower might be soon.

I'm thinking of getting my girls silk pj's and slippers but I'm unsure. I am really having a hard time deciding what to get them. Is everyone getting their MOH a different gift? or just the same?

That sounds perfect! I got my girls their jewelry also and I'm looking around for other things... probably those cute totes from Lillian Vernon... I LIKE the wine idea ALOT... might steal it!

My invites are (*hopefully*) going out this Saturday and my first fitting is the 18th -- I can't believe you are getting RSVPs already!!! That's so exciting!!

we are working on that right now...my fh didn't listen to me when i told him not to go to after hours, but he wanted to so we did, and they were horrible. so i can tell you i wouldn't go there.

my suggestion is to find a place that actually has tuxes for you to try on....after hours didn't.

i think the place we are going to this weekend is called apollo formals, but i am not sure.
