I didn't do finals yet

i made the appointment because i know that after september 23 things are going to be crazy for me because the clinical hours at grad school will be taking up all my time.

just call up...i am sure that you can make it. they do them mon-thursday i think, but they only have 3 appointment slots each night.

I tried to get my hall to do mine early and they won't until Sept!!

That is exciting about the tuxes!

We got a bunch of things going on with the wedding planning.

1. We are picking the Ketubah this weekend (for Jewish wedding)
2. My sister had her first fitting yesterday and got her shoes (they look very similar to mine

!)
3. On the 23rd, we are going to the photographer to finalize details.
4. September 2nd, we are finalizing the menu
5. September 3rd, pick out the flowers.
6. We are finalizing our songs for the BP and entrance, first dance etc.

That is exciting about the tuxes!

We got a bunch of things going on with the wedding planning.

1. went to see my dads tux (he bought one..no i don't know why)
2. All the guys got measured for their tuxs
3. going to see my florist on the 25th

Pick one more reader

Try on my gown after the first fitting

Buy a Polaroid camera for pics of the guests as they enter the reception

Pay more vendors

Send out a few more invites of people whose addresses I got really late

Get the guys to get fitted for their tuxes

Get my shoes died ivory

I'm sure there is a bunch of other little things I am forgetting

Things I still have left to do:

Get the BMs shoes dyed (don't even ASK how I ended up with this task -- they can't do ANYTHING themselves

)

All the guys have to get measured for their tuxes

Ugh -- ceremony programs

Finalize ceremony music selections

Get marriage license (doing that this week

)

Votive place cards

Finish wrapping favors (I got about half way thru last night)

Do my THIRD hair trial (but actually my first REAL one with veil & tiara and all)

Plan BM luncheon

Plan Bachelorette Party

Make OOT welcome baskets

I'm sure there's more!!! Oh yeah -- pay pay pay!!

OK i edited from the 2 above lists for what i have to do.
I also have to:
finish the presents for the GM
FH's ring
menu's
gifts for parents, readers

It's good for 60 days ... we did ours first thing in the morning when they opened at Smithtown Town Hall ... (we did not need birth certificate ...)

yesterday was my shower!!!! i posted about it on BHB so i won't write about it again.

it was so much fun....and i can't believe how generous everyone was....my aunt and uncle got us a 42 bottle wine refrigerator...that was probably the best gift. we were in shock about it.

we stuffed the inner envelopes with everything today, and i have to go get more direction cards to one of the hotels.

then we have to....

tie ribbons on the favors
pick out readings
figure out music
do programs
get mesured for tuxes
make place cards
take dance lessons
i'm sure there's tons more

i'm just exhuasted from the weekend, but am so overwhelmed!

Well the last few days have been crazy and somewhat productive. My FH's ENTIRE family came to visit for a reunion (and stayed w/ us in our tiny apt) and I had my shower yesterday, which was great!

My invitations are ready to be picked up, now all I need to do is print the addresses on them.

I had my first fitting Thursday night. I have a ton of pics, but they all need to be resized which I will work on tonight.

My FH is going w/ his Mom to check out tuxes today @ Men's Warehouse (she wants to help him pick them out). My BM dresses will be in next week!

Things are moving along....

You don't need a birth certificate? That's pretty much what I'm waiting for. I sent my birth certificate in with my passport application. I have les than 60 days left, so I can go whenver I can get off work, but I figured I had to wait to get my birth certificate back.

I can't even begin to list the things I have to do. It will drive me crazy. Our tasting is Saturday.
I have to a call today to pick the 4 things we want to taste.

Oct.2004bride-are you not getting a lot of rsponses?
I got a bunch right away, I was surpirsed. all yeses so far. I'm sure it will trail off soon & I'll have to track down straglers.

I already had 2 people respond with a guest & not put the guests name.

Town hall in Smithtown is on Main Street heading east, it's on your left hand side after the sizzler restaurant.
