We did look at hotel blocks and I am waiting for the contract to come. I also called a church and I am waiting to hear back from the Pastor to find out about the donation.

How is everyone else's planning going?

you reminded me about the donation to the church. The priest there told us to drop off the check anytime. Well... along with the pre cana paper, FH baptism cert we dropped of the $500 check on June 12th. It still hasnt been cashed and it seems like they lost it. I am not thrilled with the idea of spending $35 to put a stop on the check. The priest we are dealing with is in Korea right now and wont be back till next week, so I am going to wait untill he gets back in order to see if he put it somewhere.


Sometimes I just wish that we would have just gotten married at city hall

I am still thinking if I want to upgrade my flowers because we don't care for them. It's a daytime wedding so I don't need wow flowers. Is that so wrong?

Nope nothing wrong with not upgrading your flowers. I personally am not a flowers person either I have no idea what CPs I want...Just wanna walk in say 'these are my colors..what do you have?'

That sound like me. I am suppose to finishing up my e-party which is next month and I keep looking and doing things for the wedding. i am a mess.

I have a question I am 32 and have been toying with the idea of doing cocktail first then the ceremony then the reception. What are your opinions on this? I just felt that I want to be at the cocktail so I can enjoy & greet people there and I have always been so stuffed from the cocktail that I never get to enjoy the meal... I would be wearing a different dress for this then can change? Is this too corny?

I love that idea!! I dont think its corney at all. Plus it makes you wedding different and stand out from others. Go for it!!!
