Lots happening....time is closing in real fast on me!

I *think* my shower is Sunday - all signs are leading up to it, but to tell the truth, I really want to be surprised so I'm not delving too deep into the mystery.

FMIL is in from FL this week and FH is off from work. Tomorrow they are going to officially book the RD for the night before the wedding.

Thursday I'm off from work and FH and I are stuffing our invitations! FMIL wants to 'help' with this but I don't want her to. I can't spend even a couple of hours listening to 'you invited too many people, etc....'

Also on Thursday afternoon, we are picking up FH's wedding band.

I think that's about it for me.

Oh yeah, and we bought a house so we're mortgage shopping right now too! Closing is supposed to be on or about 10/15!

Wow, congrats on being a homeowner, I do understand we did the last October, that's why we are getting married Nov 2010. This is for FMIL on the invites. Maybe I should send some drinks your way.

Booked my church today..but was too embarassed to ask about the fee and/or 'donation'. Do you think I should just email the pastor or call and speak to him. The girl that works in the office didn't know the answer.

I think you should have a separate thread with the GTG and all the logistics. Maybe some of the ladies doeasn't want to read 41 weeks of posting.

The 30+ GTG shouldn't upset anyone, there had been thread for ladies of the same hall or nationalty gtg.

Ladies let me know if it should stay on our thread of should we open to all threads asking ladies who have not been here but on newlyweds, 09 brides, 10 brides, and the 11 brides. This is by no means to upset any of the ladies who are not 30+.

So what do you think.
